hi, what you say is true, but only in part. From my experience (I live with the earnings of my apps) started in 2014 I can say that it depends a lot on the nationality of the users you have. Surprisingly I can say that in Europe and America (both Central and Latin American) it is not a big problem to buy software. equally surprisingly, and with much regret, I “point the finger” at India, which despite being a country born with a passion for technology does not buy (or very little) any software, no matter the price (experimenting over the years with various prices). And obviously the majority cannot afford an iPhone, but I can undoubtedly say that even paying 10 INR (0.08 €) is something that they exclude a priori (even though it is a price they can afford)
the experiment was conducted from 2017 to date with my app which has approximately 70k users of Indian nationality, less than 50 users have a subscription of 10INR.
PS: before war, Russia was a wonderful market for softwares too.
