Jay Could you please answer honestly one question. If you remember when phone 2a was going to launch before that CARL BHAI showed antutu benchmark of 740000 approx but when phone came in hand it was around 640000+. What’s your thoughts on this?
Also the way they showed camera demo it was no way near the processing speed which we saw when we got the device in hand.
I don’t have issues with a mediocre phone with lots of issues but sell what you claim.

SRM_008 most phones do that. realme was banned from antutu as well. if you have seen cases, just like brand can cap the brightness , they can also cap the processing power of chip.

SRM_008 Agreed bro, Nothing claimed to have an ADAPTIVE REFRESH RATE in the CMF Phone 1 but it was just static 120hz.

Am I unhappy? No, but there’s a slight disappointment that I didn’t get what they claimed.

Marketing tactics is fine but false advertising isn’t the way to choose in the long run.

Yet, I love my CMF Phone 1 since day 1 and glad to see it constantly improving.

Just my thoughts.

Yup, all that people, who bought device with some functions and immediately goes here and crying on that they want it differently. This is so hugely annoying, that I absolutely lost my interest to go here regularly for news, ideas or help others with real issues…

Comparing phones here as people have said here is very inaccurate.

For the price of the phones the cameras are excellent.
For the price of the phones the processors are good.
For the price of the phones the design is amazing.

Being someone who has used one ui, fun touch os, HyperOs, Color os n Oxygen Os. I can say this in full confidence that all the statements you made here are very true and realistic.

We as nothing users should definitely recommend different types of things for the betterment of Os but we should also realise that change does not come easily n there r many factors to cover while adding a new feature.

For example nothing plays on a model of stock android but if it starts integrating more of its own applications in the ui, I am sure many ppl will have problems with it.

And having tried various Ui’s I can say that no Ui is perfect n no ui fully imperfect for everyone

Kassy i’am totally agree with you, and i think that people buying nothing phone to get closer to stock android as they can, without any blotware that we have in others OS.

On Point! I don’t know why some are having these issues. I am very new to nothing environment, and I’ve been following this brand ever since Carl announced the brand name and logo and right at the day 1 of the nothing phone1 I truly wanted that phone. Luckily in just 2 years I got my first phone from Nothing 2a (SE) and I just love everything about it. I don’t know why people say they don’t like the camera but when I used it and changed form 12mp to 50mp my friends who own samsungs24 and apple16 began to compare their photos with me. can you Imagine the hurt! I have a very low budget phone and they are comparing their photos with me, lol. That’s huge for me. Also, just because people have best camera doesn’t make them best photographers. People with right photography knowledge can even take a masterpiece click with just 2 mega pixel as well. so I really don’t see a valid point when people compare hardware and software based on price they paid. its just pure experience. Nothing is simple and yea the processing is slow while switching to gallery which the team is working around to improvise it and yea we will have many new features coming soon and good part is its not the end. I saw literally hundreds of videos before going for the Phone 2a special edition and every YTbrs said ah its just a gimmick in the design. But the attention people pay when I hold the phone (one of them was iphone 15 pro user) kept staring at phone2a and instantly asked me “is that Nothing phone 2a special edition” that is enough for me. Its been only 5 days and I have become a fanboy to this simply nothing experience. No more bloated ads over apps, I did not face any lags in the os. 2.6 update is so good with the photo processing speed improved to previous 2.5 update. you can understand my excitement with my huge replies 🤣
