I have recently installed Nothing O.S 3.0 (BETA) lately I’ve been facing network issue it automatically keeps switching from 5G to 4G I have to frequently Switch Flight mode On/Off to get a stable 5G network and sometimes even WIFI speed drops all of sudden I hope this issue gets fixed ASAP earlier I’ve never faced network or WIFI issues when I had Nothing O.S 2.6 other than this everything great performance has increased battery backup s good UI animations have improved alot!

My camera for selfie became worse after update. It got more contrasty, i dont even use default camera anymore. I only use tiktok whatsapp selfie. I’m so disappointed.

    Just rolled back to 2.6 from 3.0 man I really do not like 3.0. First the AOD clocks suck. Too dim and the position of them all the way at the top, just like an Iphone and IOS. Drop down menu, hate it the Pixel like style from 2.6 is way better. And the system fonts, both suck. Do not like them at all. So when the final version of 3.0 I can either hold off and stick to 2.6 for as long as I can, or I will just switch to a Pixel which I do not want to do, but I really dislike the look and feel of 3.0. They are certainly going for the Apple IOS look and feel, no thanks…

    Rex_l3zLr10aah for your point number 1 there is a suggestion I can make. Check Developer Options and make sure that the option I highlighted in the attached screenshot is disabled. You can also disable mobile data from quick settings in Nothing OS 3.0. Only enable mobile data if you need to use it. It’s just a tap away…

      Does anyone have a VAG group car and an Amundsen unit and could check if contact synchronization works on NOS 3.0?

      I have a phone 2 and contact synchronization has not worked since I updated to Android 14.

      I am not the only one who has a problem with contact synchronization after the update and we hope that Android 15 will fix it.

      Does this 3.0 have the animation when we swip up from lockscreen to home screen because currently it looks so bad it just open when swiped up without any animation and the home screen comes in a weird manner

      Please, in Nothing OS 3.0 add the ability to choose the shape of its icons like round square or other shapes, also, an update of the Nothing Icons Pack would be welcome because some icons do not display very well it is not optimized for all apps. I also think you can improve the weather app by adding new features, also, I hope a note app will come in the next updates because notes are super handy. Finally, I am looking forward to the Nothing Gallery App. Thanks for everything Nothing, you are the best.

        Anonymous297 First of all, a temperature curve could be displayed when you click on a day. Information on the moon could be added. Pressure should also be added. And if possible add flood and heatwave warnings… in the App. Finally, it would be great if we were not redirected to the AccuWeather site by clicking on the days of the week or for example when I click on the air quality (a map with the qualities in the surrounding area could be displayed) but that everything is in the App, the redirections really spoil the experience of this application.

            U77L_Phone2a we go to accuweather coz of API usage. nothing is not using dedicated API. plus I think google added features for flood and earthquake. not sure but yeah. plus moon in weather app wont make any sense , we talking about weather app, not solar system.

                Anonymous297 So already Google can’t have added dedicated features since it’s a Nothing app. And as for the API, either the way the app works could be changed or the pages could open directly in the app. The moon would be an additional option like on the Weather App on my iPad.

                    U77L_Phone2a we already have safety feature for SOS and earthquake stuff built in so no need to add in app I feel. and also to open link directly in app is same as opening in browser using webview but it will ruin the UI of weather app. theres nothing much happening in weather app. just location and all data coming from API. if you got to setting and safety options you will see stuff there. and IOS always tends to give something useless and call it huge upgrade like camera button but wont give 120fps. etc. and we getting more with android 15 as well.

                      I think NOS3 is well done. However, I find the buttons too big in the CC. Slightly narrower than Stock Android would look better.

                      The beta works well. But the camera still hasn’t been improved. It doesn’t take much for this smartphone to reach the level of the Pixel 7a.

                      To improve:

                      - more natural colors in both cameras. Candy colors are not good.

                      - extended night mode time. Let the night mode expose photos for 2 or 3 seconds longer. Then the photos will be more detailed at night.

                      - more details on rough surfaces, even at the expense of noise.

                      - improved stabilization in movies.

                      That’s all it takes to make this a complete smartphone. A camera at the level of the Pixel 7a is achievable. If you listen to the community, take this into account. No more improvements to portrait mode are needed. Thank you for your work so far.

                      Disappointed, I have waited for system font change option as all got most of these features from smart launcher app 🥺
