Really disappointed in this, Just wait more and more until the NP1 gets discontinued before even letting us try NothingOS 3. And the Phone (2), which is a Flagship, misses a lot of camera updates, I’d urge other users to think twice before buying a nothing product.

I know some of you are frustrated, but it’s a wise decision to only include one phone right now in open beta. This is not meant to be used by normal users, I would say it’s enthusiasts beta.

What if any hardware failure occurs if we update to Nothing os 3.0

Does the repair comes under warrenty??

better to look @ it this way right? 2a could be the test mule to get the beta first to rule out the niggles.

np2 flagship devices may get a better version of the beta since its flagship n all. i’m just trying to make myself feel better with the 2a+ in hand 😁

Natalie ✨ Please tell me if it will delete my data surely or if it’s just a speculation…….

I have a nothing phone 2a and I was really excited to download this update..

So many interesting features. Really excited for this. I wont be able to download the beta for testing but will keep an eye out for reviews.

I have few questions guys do I loose all my data just by joining the open beta testing of OS or I loose it only if rollback please let me know what I have to do I’m really confused and I definitely want to join the beta access please help me with some info guys

To every folks complaining about Phone (2) set for November release even if it is a flagship… I have one too and I don’t feel like being abandoned by the company. Do you guys know that Phone (2) has much more specific hardware than the Phone (2a)? Just think: the Glyphs on the back are much more complex than those of the Phone (2a). Stop complaining and enjoy a company that could among the first to upgrade you to Android 15 - remember: Google will upgrade its Pixels on Oct. 15th. Let’s see what other manfacturers will do.

Natalie ✨ So phone 2 is totally forgotten now wow it’s nice to use a flagship bought first day now you’re focused on phone 2a only nice.. I don’t think i will be using nothing again.

No matter how much we talk about the level of salesability of your phones, maybe 2a shot great on release, but the community of phone 2 users is bigger, phone 2 is still on sale and they continue to buy it, it is the most popular in terms of functionality and stuffing, you need to do something with these, and not postpone the update for November, this will only impale the community, in principle, which you have already done..

I think all devices should have access to the beta testing, I mean phone 2a just recently got 2.6 update and a lot of people just bought it and why would anyone install a beta on their brand-new phones? it only makes sense to let Phone1 and Phone2 to have the update first and then launch to new gen devices. I just got my new phone 2a and the new update and I would never try beta so early unless I really feel the OS need a new feel. I am not sure how the updates are planned but current gen devices may not show major bugs in testing but with previous gen it will give a clear picture about its performance, optimization needed and find suitable hardware related compromises. Phone2a just came less than 6 months and giving all major access upfront would be unfair to the rest of the crowd who are eagerly waiting desperately to taste the new flavor.

Well, at least they said the month of production, that’s something.

You lose the data on roll back!
But to be on the safer side, keep the data backed up even if you don’t think you will roll back, as unexpected errors may cause data loss.
