SanilMehra i think it right strategy to bring betas to most selling devices becouse you will get more feedbacks of it.

Mukundh28 i understand your feelings but maybe I guess that the proscessing power of NP1 was not enough for nothing os 3.0
will my phone get wiped if I instal the beta version if so how can I backup all 100 gb to my pc (i am not sarcastic,i really want to know. if I jst copy paste it gets cancelled automatically in mid way so ,suggest some way)
and if the data gets wiped, a kind request for the team from me is to avoid the chance of data getting wiped from next time

NithinPradeep Dude the official release will be same for np2 as well as 2a. And also check what nothing said in their post about why they prioritised 2a. Stop glazing.

There still a lot of Phone 2 users feeling salty, disappointed with Nothing’s decision to make Phone 2a users as testers. You can try it and give feedbacks next month yourself, be patient.
Abhinav_WIfK34ROji I had updated to nothing OS 3.0 beta from 2.6 version, your data will be not wiped up…but you should backup your data in pc just for safety!

vovan-v then why not they give open beta to np1 . Np 1 sales is more than NP2a. These are lame excuses. Their main motto is to earn money and focus only on NP2a or np2a community editon …
I only buy np2 because of Carl but as per his strategy but he is fail to build trust for his loyal fan following.
After launching of OnePlus 13 in india I will shift back. Atleast they treat flagship models on priority basis not as secondary model..

christo_reese yes np2 users disappointed because all np2 users pay more than np2a users. After launching of np3 now all users wait for np3a because they give priority to np3a first. What rubbish all nothing fans doing right now.
One more thing they will realase open beta 1 to np 2 users after realising open beta 2 to NP2a users .

Everything is good but there is a lack of one feature. Make the expert mode to be compatible with video. This would help us to not rely on third party apps for videography.

SanilMehra You know, I feel bamboozled reading your reply. I’m a user of Phone (2) from 28th September last month and I feel no sorts of disappoinment. Some Phone (2) users might feel disappointed, but not me; I never was interested to participate in beta testing OS to begin with, too high of a risk (and I know I’m not the only Phone (2) users who didn’t care about beta testing). The least of your worry will be factory reset and the worst of them is brick your device. There’s always an oh, shit factor in play when it comes to beta testing OS.
Like I said, Nothing never promises anything in regards of premium device buyers. All customers are equal, whether they can afford more premium Phone (2) or middle level Phone (2a) or even the cheapest CMF Phone 1. Just because we bought more pricey phone that doesn’t mean Nothing should put us in pedestal and somehow they owe us something. You need to throw away that kind of entitlement attitude, man.
I don’t understand why phone 2 users are crying about the beta program. You paid the money for flagship specs and you already got it. Owning the flagship device doesn’t get you VIP treatment, Stop being jealous and be patient it’s not like you are not getting the update.
