Nothing OS 3.0 | Phone (2a) Open Beta

I am facing this issue of frame drops in lower toggles in control centre since beta 1 and it is still not fixed in beta 2 for NP2A.

KrzysztofS Then you can’t skip that and update to open beta 2. You have to update to open beta 1 and you will get open beta 2 via OTA update. And now you can’t update to open beta 1 also as they have stopped open beta 1 rollout and they have mentioned by the end of october you should do but you missed that. So now the only best option is to wait for final stable release in December

@Rob if i will back by rollback package from first post of this topic i will still can update to open beta 1 ?

KrzysztofS Nope that beta updater tool doesn’t work anymore for updating to open beta 1. They have stopped the rollout of open beta 1 for phone 2a

RavishKumar Well apparently, it is to do more with Qualcomm than Nothing, at least that’s what Akis told us. It is somthing to do with Qualcomm not optimising Android 15 on before Mediatek, and that’s why they had to delay the beta.

Hi everyone. I didn’t know that the beta version of Nothing OS 3.0 can only be rolled onto the previous version of the firmware and now I can’t take part in the beta test. Can anything be done about this?

@Rob Who are the people who are experiencing little jitter and lag in Nothing 2a beta 2 I updated my phone to beta 2 yesterday. After that I sometimes feel lag in the UI. Sometimes I feel jitter while opening and closing apps.

Protackto no, you can’t get beta 1 anymore because Nothing closed it. Only users that entered open beta 1 in due time can update to beta 2. Now you just need to wait for stable/final release in December (no date announced).
