Is the low lag mode always auto disabled? Everytime I check the app I have to enable it back and it’ll automatically disable after I leave the app, or does auto-enable after I enter gaming mode with my Phone(2)?
Low Lag Mode
So, my understanding this is expected behaviour and likely because latency mode can cause stalling when using Ear in other scenarios.
I’d suggest logging it as product feedback via settings>system>feedback on your Nothing phone.
AlsonTang low latency mode automatically toggles when gaming mode is activated for nothing phones. No need to manually toggle them while entering a game. You can test it by playing any kind of music and start a game, there will be a pause as expected when enabling low latency and also when exiting the game as well. Hope it helps
I have the same issue. Gaming mode is turned off each time I use Ear with my PC. Always need to go back to my phone to re-activate it.
This is where I wish there was Computer software, where you could quickly turn on and off low latency in the task bar.
Is there a way to force gaming mode on PC?
Speaking of wich, how effective is gaming mode really? Is there a way to test it? It feels good (no lip desynch in videos, no gun desynch in games), but I’d like a more precise testing.
Shame Ear doesn’t support AptX, because I use a Creative BT-W6 dongle and could have low latency enabled for PC, but with Ear I can’t. :/
