Good evening all,

A small post here, to celebrate the wonderful event some of the community got to experience on the evening of Wednesday 20th September, in London, UK.

As some of you may have seen, Nothing is part of the London Design Festival (LDF) this year, along with some other amazing partners. Further details can be found here: https://www.londondesignfestival.com/

Nothing’s particular involvement is the “From Studio to Store” exhibition in the basement area of the Nothing Store, in Soho, London. Part of the LDF, Nothing was invited to a celebration of the festival, at Tom Dixon’s Shop in Kings Cross, London. Part of these invites were extended to Community Members via an application on the Official Discord Server. Those lucky enough to be accepted were chosen and the hype and anticipation began…

In this party, we had Rob, our wonderful Community Manager, Natalie - Community Assistant, Louis - Community Board Observer, Derren - Moderator (Here and on Discord) and fellow community members, myself, Simon and Abdul. Here we are (minus Natalie, who was diligently showing others around the Nothing displays):

The highlight of the event was the live improvised ‘rave’, that was hosted by Teenage Engineering. This was achieved by a bunch of their kit, most notably the OP-1s. The set up was like so:

And, it gained a lot of attention and phones!

Unfortunately, Louis and Derren didn’t get the call up for the improv, but they had a go elsewhere in the event:

Overall, it was a splendid, busy and boujee evening. Another wonderful example of Nothing being a Community-centric brand and it was great to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones as well.
A massive shout-out to the Nothing team for all of their hard work, to be recognised at an event like this shows how revolutionary their products are. People are noticing the work, uniqueness and fun this brand brings to the tech space. It is celebrated, and rightly so!

I am sure this is only the beginning for this start-up company, who are only just about to celebrate their third birthday(?!).

I shall leave you with some more pics I snapped on the night. If anyone has the chance to visit the Soho store whilst the exhibition is on, I’d highly recommend it! There are many little details in there, and to see the design process from first mockups to final product is truly inspiring.

            This is the sort of content that makes me smile. Great write up of the event, it was absolutely epic! As per usual, these events are all about us community members getting together and that for me is the best bit. Secondly, is to have the privilege to experience these epic events together, it was such an iconic synth set. Love the photos you guys have shared, I’ll drop a few more in below:

                    Ealesy101 Looks pretty amazing in the end - I actually had a ticket for this and got close to attending but the rain did me it and was soaked and just not feeling up to it so turned back.
