the auto brightness was absolutely accurate in version 2.6 now it is always on the brighter side even when the room is pitch black.i have to turn it off and then on just for it to be a bit more accurate.
Is anyone facing the same issues?i hope they fix it for the stable version
Have they added double tap to wake in the lock screen? Single tap to wake makes the screen wake up for lots of accidental touches and results in various buttons and shortcuts being pressed while the phone is in my pocket. If not I’d like to suggest this to the devs

I never faced this issue. I dont even have google photos enabled…
MahelaMunasinghe you have option for mistouch preventions. in settings. coz double tap is already there to lock the device.
Anonymous297 well say I’m holding the phone in my hand and the finger accidentally touches the screen, the screen turns on and then the same problem arises.
Double touch to wake would solve all these issues.
As a workaround , I tried disabling double touch and enabling raise to wake. But raise to wake is far too unreliable. It only works about half the time when I take my phone out of my pocket. It usually just stays locked.
Well… I don’t know… I like the single tap, I’ve never had any problems. But it would be great to tap on the lock screen and switch the smartphone to AOD mode.

We want a option toh can’t turn off or restart your phone from lock screen please bring that option if want to restart or Power off from the lock screen you need to unlock your phone please bring that option for security
MahelaMunasinghe Yes I am currently facing this problem very frequently in my daily life! Nothing OS team should change it to double tap to wake in lock screen, because of single tap it accidentally turn on the phone and turn on the widgets in lock screen. They should looked after this issue!

I have two request:-
1. PLEASE keep an option to keep the N-DONT font. I liked the new font but as an old community I really miss those & also those fonts were really a stand out feature or look I would say.
2. In Q.S when its in light theme its really hard to distinguish b\w whether its om or off specially at out doors. So if possible change the colour into RED as it also follow the nothing design lang.
RubienCharcos Nothing can make dialer, gallery, music player, notes, calculator all as default stock apps and can replace with Google apps. Every phone should have their own products style with good interface rather depending on Google apps

nothing should make a dynamic island just like every other company is making coz this feature enhances the usibility of the notch area as well as gives an upper hand in switching between apps in ni time . I would request nothing to please make a dynamic island and release it in the stable builld
Animatorakash you cant get into beta 2 , you must be enrolled with beta 1 to get in beta 2.
ahm may be, coz if we add colon in it with same font, its gonna look terrible, 2 squares in between…
Given the 2(a) and the 2 are different devices with different chipsets (and given the way software testing works), I suspect the Phone 2 will get it’s own Beta 1 to start with, hopefully with some of the lessons learnt from the 2(a) Beta 1 and Beta 2 releases.

that need to be kept in mind for the Nothing team. I would love to contribute to Nothing for future updates! 
Here are my suggestions:

Mirror live wallpaper for the lock screen

Add battery saver option for AOD, so it saves power by going to sleep if no one is watching
3. 
Fix game recording feature — it’s not capturing sound currently
4. 
Control panel resizing with both swipe/tap gestures
5. 
Give a choice to change the UI font, so users can apply a Matrix-like font throughout the interface
6. 
AI image generation for creating custom wallpapers
7. 
Create a Connection App similar to Apple AirDrop, but optimized for Nothing devices
8. 
Optimize apps to “archive” when in the background and “unarchive” when opened again for fast and efficient usage
9. 
Long swipes from the edges to switch apps easily
10. 
Fix click-to-start feature — sometimes it doesn’t work, forcing me to use the power button
11. 
Add an energy-efficient mode for better battery life

Touch-to-transfer files feature
