Hello everyone. My name is Joan Casalprim, English teacher in secondary education, father of two teenagers, reader, gamer and music lover (to listen to, I have no idea to play any instrument!). Glad to be here with all of you.

I’m from Santa Coloma de Farners, a town located about 100 km north of Barcelona, in Catalonia, right next to Girona.
I owned a Oneplus 5 phone since August 2017 and it was time to update my phone as I use it a lot in my job and also as a town councillor. I heard about Nothing and I searched about it on the Internet. The more I read about it, the more convinced I was that it was my next device. I received it two weeks ago and I’m amazed by it.
As a man in my late forties, the first time I dropped my hands on a Gameboy I felt I was in a new dimension. I still own my first Gameboy, that huge grey brick with green and black screen, and every once in a while, I get some batteries and spend some hours playing some Marioland, Link’s Awakening or Ducktales.
“You want it all but you can’t have it. It’s in your face but you can’t grab it”. A quote from Faith no More’s great song “Epic” from the album “The Real Thing” (1989). Probably the best album in music history together with their follow up “Angel Dust” (1992)

Hey to everyone at the Nothing Community,

I am from South Africa and was one of the first people, if not the first to get the NP1 in SA when it was launched. I got it off Amazon.co.uk and when I put my sim in it worked!! I did have to take a chance as the Nothing Helpdesk could not give any confirmation that the phone would work in SA. The great news is that we now get the NP1 and NE1 in SA.
I fell in love with Nothing immediately, I now have two NP1s, Black and the White. Also have the NE1 in black. I used Apple ONLY for just over a decade and Nothing got the twinkle in my eye back. I love technology, in all the places we interact with it. The South African market is tricky as customers are brand loyal and there is a large disparity in terms of income but my hope for Nothing and for the Community is that Nothing can gain traction in Africa, built out of South Africa and we will have access to the products, which includes CMF as there is a large tech industry in SA and we don’t get any of the new cool stuff.
I still have the piece of tech that got me hooked, the Sony Walkman NWZ-B133F, a USB stick for my music was just awesome. The form factor, the software design, the ease of transfer, battery life. I love music and the B133F just worked.
I really enjoy Alan Watts and “If you could dream any dream you wanted to dream” is mind blowing. True human nature.
Watches and Tech are what I am about. This is a watch, imagine the day the idea was launched.

Hello, everyone! Greetings from India. I have been a fan of Carl Pei, and I like Nothing’s mission to “remove barriers between people and technology to create a seamless future”.
I am currently using a Samsung M21 (2021 version) with a broken screen, which was previously used by my mother. I still remember the day in July 2022 when the Nothing Phone 1 was released in India. I really wanted it, but I had no money at the time. So, I’m still using the same Samsung phone.

Good day Nothing Community… Pedro M here.

1. Originally from Colombia, but have moved around. First Costa Rica, then stopped Down Under, and I’m currently based in Singapore. I’m a veterinarian by training but moved from clinical practice to research and teaching. Single dad, unemployed (lost my job post-Covid), on the hunt and full of hope.

2. My Samsung Note 20 Ultra died on me. Thought of moving to iPhone since my computer life is macOS-based. But, Nothing got in the way. Spent some time reading, watching videos and all things considered (price mark, style, functionality, simplicity and more) my heart was taken. Fresh and exciting are two words that come to mind when I look at Nothing 2 and think of the company. The Glyphs! Yeah… who cares about purpose, the pure fact that the back of a phone is alive, I mean that is creativity and out of the box-thinking. There’s Nothing out there like it, literally.

3. Tough question. I can’t decide between my uncle’s Atari 2600, and my other uncle’s Macintosh 128K

Hello Nothing Community!

I’m Eric from South Korea.
I first got into Nothing when the Ear 2 released. I was looking for new pair of buds and decided to give it a try. Since then, I have been hooked. I got the Phone 2 here in South Korea a few weeks when it was released. It’s just refreshing to see something different and new. There definitely needs improvements and bug fixes made (better battery life please =P), but I see a lot of potential in the brand. I’m very excited to be part of the community and eager to grow with the brand. My hope is to see more of Nothing products here in Korea. If you can get people interested in a non-Samsung or Apple phone here in Korea, you can do anything! lol
I knew exactly what made my jaw drop when I read this one. It was the first Motorola Droid phone. My older brother got it when it was released and he was showing it off to me and I thought it was just the coolest thing ever!

Hi everyone SteveP living on the edge of the Cotswolds, just south of Gloucester.

Interest in Nothing sparked when looking for a non Chinese phone. What could be better than supporting a British company.

Interest in tech started with the first LED calculators in school circa 1976, then the Walkman about 6 years later. Had to wait 40 years for Shox bone conducting headphones, hate stick buds in my ears.
