So I am from Georgia in the United States. Born and raised. Weaving my way out to find myself closer to Nothing (pun intended). I don’t know if there’s anyone from the community here, so feel free to friend me.
I’ve mentioned this in many reviews for the products I have, but what got me interested in Nothing was actually the small talk my brother and I had about technology as a whole. We always talked about the new Apple products (I know. Yucky) as well as the whole web of new technology from new phones to new headphones and earbuds. That all grew for us, and Nothing started to cross our eyes. It hooked on me more because I love the whole movement this company makes to constantly standout from the other tech giants that are continuously growing to this day. My technology pathway for Nothing started from the CMF Headphones pro, then the CMF Buds 2, then the big leap of faith with the Phone (4a) pro, then the Ear (3), and finally the CMF Watch 3 Pro. Throughout this journey I want to continue making a statement and expressing that I have a passion for this company and this community.
So the Walkman’s are a very niche but pleasing product to look at, and I actually am looking into getting one. However, a piece of technology that dropped my jaw is the CRKD Nitro Deck for the Nintendo Switch (and I guess the Nintendo Switch as well lol). I got mine in a Atomic Red, which is the transparency color series they have, and it takes some nostalgia to how some earlier technology went through a whole color wave and transparency era. I also have a matching pro controller with the same color. Each piece is absolutely stunning. Functions well with the Switch and you don’t have to deal with any of the stick drift.
My absolute favorite music quote is from Charli XCX’s song Alters, and it states “One is not the loneliest number. Won’t keep putting all my faith on you.” Specifically about the part where one isn’t lonely. It stuck out to me a lot because even if you are alone, you never truly are. Sometimes you don’t need somebody to not make you feel alone. Charli is such a genius with her lyrics and her music hooked me closer ever since her album BRAT came out. I have heard some of her music before, but that was when I was a kid. Now it’s totally different. Especially since she became the global ambassador and shareholder. Felt like it was meant to be.
So if it was real, this would be my spirit gadget:
I’m currently in my playthrough of Pokemon FireRed, and I feel like this piece of tech is a core connection between Pokemon and the real world for me. Pokemon GO would be a bigger example, but it just doesn’t resonate with me compared to FireRed. It just speaks me at this point.
