Would be great if Nothing could design a USB C plug that fits with a case on to prevent the port from getting damaged and collecting dust ect.

But it not nessesary for masses.

I think this is not really needed… the production and price will be high for sure. lets take example of apple clothe.
it will be similar case.

Hey 👋

It’s certainly not something you see discussed a lot but i appreciate the thought. The problem is with these is that:

They’re a pain to keep inserting and removing
You’re going to lose them
Phones have water and dust resistance anyway
If your phones port is getting damaged enough to need one of these then you’re either extremely unlucky, working in an extreme environment, or not being very careful with your phone

I would love to see your opinions on why Nothing should create their own as apposed to a small number of people buying them through third party retailers as suggested above.

Derren I would suggest an official case with the usb c port plug. Same was with my realme device which came bundled with the official case with in-built c port plug. I miss that so much.
