Those that are experiencing wifi issues it may be worth changing your routers channel frequency and band, like wise change the frequency band on you NP2.

    My SIM 2 is Jio network. I am in a good network area but the phone keeps switching it between 4G and 5G. I’ve never seen this before the latest update. Even in weak signal areas, the Phone 2 always had a good reception before. Anyone else facing this?

    From a couple of weeks I am having similar celullar and wifi signal issue on my Nothing phone 1. @changename Please fix signal related issue on your next update, or else I have to sell it.

    Not just JIO SIM it’s even on AIRTEL SIM also. I have been facing this issue past 1 month and nothing has changed. Hope this will get rectified in the next update.

      Waseemisitu when the next update comes. Nothing has been completely inconsistent with their update cycle, and also which devices receive updates.

      This issue that I have commented is on Indian Sim.

      I am unable to make call from my phone 2 with jio sim after the phone is not used for a sometime. But my internet access is working. I am not getting calls to my jio and I am unable to make call from jio. Every time I have to switch off the sim or to flight mode and back or restart the phone. I tried changing the slot also. But the issue persists. The issue started only after the last update.Kindly help

      Mirtaz same with me on call drops. Also while playing game it keeps disconnecting while other redmi phone is stable. It has surely something to do with the phone I’m sure.

      Just now stumbled onto the same issue: extremely slow WiFi connectivity, borderline useless. What’s going on…?

      I am facing the similar issue with my jio Airfiber which has wifi 6, when the wifi switch from 5 ghz to 2 ghz or vice versa, wifi speed reduced drastically, i have to either turn on airplane mode or restart my phone to get the speed, some when it comes from 5 ghz it is not connecting to 2 ghz automatically, i have to restart my phone to connect to 2 ghz, i am using nothing phone 2

      I’m experiencing call issues on JIO SIM in rural areas on phone 2.

      I live in Bengaluru 5 days a week and go to my home 65kms from Bengaluru. It’s actually a village and rural. When ever I go to rural areas I face calling issues. I faced the same issue only once in last 2 months while in Bengaluru.

      Internet works very well on both 4G and 5G but the Issue is with VoLTE/NR/WiFi, can’t make calls, it says call ended and ends the call immediately, anybody calling me will here switched off. Toggling Aeroplane mode doesn’t work, have to turn off and on the SIM and reboot the phone every time like every 1 hour or even more.

      Sometimes it happens even when the VoLTE/NR/Wifi being shown in the status bar, only when I try to make a phone call will I know that it’s not working and have to turn off and on the SIM and reboot the phone.

      I use BSNL as secondary and that works absolutely fine.

      I tried,

      • Resetting the Network Settings.
      • Performing factory reset.
      • Switched the from SIM 1 to SIM 2.

      Nothing has worked.

      I was using Airtel for around 6 months since I bought the phone and I’m facing only after I ported to JIO, 2 months back. There’s no issue with Jio as it works well on every other phone, even entry level 5G ₹11000 Xiaomi phone with snapdragon 4 gen2.

      Update 21/08/24, I’ve got the new duplicate JIO SIM card yesterday to check if the issue is with the SIM Card, used for 24 hours, I’m still facing the same issue on the new Card as well.

      This is very serious issue, please check with the Network bands and refine them.

      Please, I’m done with missing important calls.

      Update 07/09/24, after installing the nothing OS 2.6. I was happy after seeing the change log had the calling issues on certain networks mentioned. But, after using for more than 24 hours, I’m still facing the issue. Taking this to Service Center is left now.
