Secondly If nothing is trying to offer a similar experience to what apple offers, I have never seen an iPhone even the new made in india variants requiring the insertion of an Indian sim for using the phone for what itās made for, to make phone calls. Beyond cellular bands the experience is the same regardless of what model you purchase. This arbitrary feature restriction based on region is the reason i went with nothing, assuming there would be none.
But good luck this is the first and last nothing product I spend my hard earned money on. I want something that works regardless of what country I am in or what region in the world i purchase it from, which nothing as a company clearly doesnāt, and with the EU forcing apple to comply to more open standards and USB type C, I would rather jump ship to a platform that treats all users regardless of where they purchase it from the same, not to mention the far longer software support cycle of 6 years.
