Received my device a few days ago, and in this time, my battery health has deteriorated with 3% from 97% (when received new) to 94% in the space of three days. I’ve had 2 charges to 100%, and one to 90% (after enabling the setting).

My question: Does this settle at some point, i.e. it takes, say, 10 charge cycles to eventually drop to and remain at, for example, 90% for the foreseeable future, or should I keep an eye on this?

Using Battery Guru to check this. I understand that it may not be 100% accurate, but the fact remains it does detect the deterioration nonetheless.

SebastiaanRothman Hey, as you said yourself, this should not be used as an indication of your battery health since it can be not accurate at all just like in your example.

If the phone is new, battery should be in the same state.

It slowly charges your battery instead of rapid charge .

It’s like using a slower charger but not gathering heat up so that it deteriotes the battery.

So that when you wake up for example from sleep it has charged slowly long enough to plug out and continue

Is it recommended to use lower power chargers to prevent battery decay? And use only fast charge when needed? Tks
