Many users here complain about not receiving the latest and greatest updates, because 2a maybe now is the latest and greatest despite being ‘just’ the mid-ranger but selling well. But I would buy anytime instead Phone 2 because:

  • Imho better design.
  • Security updates promised at least long enough.

I’ve seen what happened with all these Chinese brands (owned a Xiaomi before) - the OS got more and more cluttered, they brought in money through ads in the OS, phone home, a lot of telemetry.

Can’t people just be content with what they already have, if the experience is very solid already, and the company doesn’t sell it’s soul to just every ad company available? I don’t get it. Everybody must live off something. I think Nothing delivers a really great price/quality ratio and I wish them a very successful Phone 3 start.

Right now my Phone 2 works as flawlessly as it could get for an Android (and I’ve been with Android since version 2.3…). Sure, the only feature really missing being the charge limit 😌

I hope Nothing will be successful for a long time.

            I am experiencing a sudden decrease internet speeds after the update.both cellular and wifi is 5g enabled and 70mbps speed cant reach the phone.The phone struggling to open a chrome page and comments section.i have problems in 2.0 but later solved in 2.6.but again problems in October security patch update.Not affected other than internet

            Since update the always on display is very dim and difficult to read. Anyone else having this problem?

            Anyone facing issue with NFC payments under Google wallet after update? nothing phone 2 user. Problems started last 2 days.

            Removed work account, updated Google app, switched off-on phone, tried several bank cards , tried in 3 different stores and I get a message that device isn’t recognised.

            Since recent my update to Pong-U2.6-241016-1700-EEA, my alarm sound seem to be broken :

            I’m using YT Music songs, and alarm volume is set to max in the settings, but the volume applied in the morning seem to be the media volume, witch I had set to the lowest possible level.

            I did a reboot of Nothing OS to see if anything would change, and keep you updated if this happens again on my next alarm.
