I lost to scalpers today. A few hours after the so called sale here in PH, one of the scalpers contacted me if I wanted a unit. He was expecting a bidding frenzy. I let the opportunity to own the community edition go. I love the concept of the company and the design of the product, but in this situation where opportunists win, I’m out.
For India, please try launch the next batch in Mumbai. As it will help other enthusiasts to get hands on the phone.

I got mine last week. Was using NP 2 before. Well, it looks really cool, but it is much slower than NP2. Not sure if I stay with this phone or switch back to NP2.

Is it just my device or does the stock screen protector pick-up heaps of lint, dust etc.? 
For one week of use, I noticed the following things:
1. Battery: The battery performs well (under normal use). I charged it for the first time after 2 days of use, then let it drain to 5% before charging again.
2. Camera: The camera is good (coming from a OnePlus 8 Pro). Photos, videos, etc., are satisfactory. I’ve seen people complaining about it, but they must be professional photographers.

3. Android Auto issues: There’s a problem with Android Auto. The ringtone starts loud and then decreases. During calls, the sound fluctuates—it decreases, then increases, or even cuts out completely. This happens often, and since I spend most of my day in the car, it’s frustrating.

4. Photo Gallery: It’s not a must-have, but a gallery that allows you to find and organize photos easily and conveniently would be great.
5. Fonts and Colors: Fonts and colors vary (especially for third-party apps). Some apps display double fonts without proper coloring, or the opposite.
6. Ringtones and Alarms: I don’t like loud ringtones or startling alarms. This phone offers excellent options to adjust the volume for ringtones and notifications.
7. Turning off at night: I couldn’t figure out how to turn the phone off automatically from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM. There’s only a sleep mode, but the phone remains operational.
Conclusion:
A well-executed limited-edition phone. The design is unique, with a soft glow at night that isn’t intrusive. The glyph system impressed me greatly. I hope future updates improve some features.

Some feedback I’ve been thinking about (maybe for the next community edition)..
Would of been nice to see purchases made by the general public get the same unboxing experience as reviewers/influencers i.e. 2 boxes and the UV light would of been a nice touch, would of made it even that a bit more special. Any chance of getting one/purchasing one?

I know I’m too late, but now I gonna have my first phone, though I liked the Nothing Phone 2a and 2a plus, it’s other variants, the community edition is just elite. I don’t know I want it a lot, LOL. But nevermind it’s just 1000 pieces when I saw that it was out of stock in Flipkart. So sad, aren’t there any more stocks? Like just only 1, I really just love this edition.
