Is Private Space Comming with Nothing OS 3.0?

As Carl tweeted in May asking about keeping Hidden App or switching to Private Space, many agreed to switch to Private Space.

I was expecting Private Space in Nothing OS 3.0, it was not initially there on Open Beta 1 for Nothing phone (2a) and I was expecting it to come with Open Beta 2, but it’s still not there.

Does the team has some plans to add Private Space with stable build or ever in future?

aayushi19 I didn’t meant to say it was confirmed at the time of Announcement, instead I said that Carl mentioned about it in a post, wheater they should switch to Private Space, so I was expecting it in Nothing OS 3.

And, yeah I agree with you that nowhere it is mentioned officially as a feature but would still love it if it gets added in future build.

I think Private Space is a massive selling point of Android 15, and should be implemented in Nothing OS, even if it’s a way off, say 3.5 .

I think it should as it’s like the main selling point of this year’s android update.

also there are some more features missing like usb to webcam (where you can use your phone as a webcam via usb).

there are more features that I might’ve missed but these are missing ones that came to my mind and I feel should be added in the stable build of 3.0 atleast.

aarav Carl asked the users if they want it or they liked nos hide apps considering it is still not added means users like nos hide apps more than private space so it’s not gonna be added

today i bought nothing phone 2a. it is very fast, the stereo audio is of excellent quality but the charge is very slow and there is no private space. it is absurd that there is no private space. i am forced to return the phone to the seller. i am sorry. experience concluded.

Nothing is delaying the updates they are being shown during the launch event.

They have released NOS-3.0, which is based on Android 15, just to showcase that they have released a major update.

There are not many Android 15 built-in features including “private space”.
