Ille the Nothing Phone 2a supports PD (Power Delivery) 3.0 and PPS (Programmable Power Supply) charging standards. You should preferably search for chargers that support both standards.

It will deny warranty if they sell the phone complete with the corresponding charger. Since they don’t provide a charger, they should have made sure that any certified charger will charge. For 2 years now, I’ve been charging it all night with a smart socket with built-in 2 A usb ports in it. I don’t even use a typical charger.

Samsung 25w fast charger works very good with phone 2a.

My Nothing Phone 2a Plus does not charge at full power with the Xiaomi 67w 2ca1 power supply, AccuBattery shows 8 - 10 watts. Is it necessary to have an original Nothing power supply for fast charging?

PRO100CiRiLl Xiaomi uses different charging protocols on their phones and chargers, probably proprietary technology.

Charging is (oversimplified) a combination of Watts and Amperes. For example on my Nothing Phone 2a the maximum charging speed seems to happen at 27/28W with 8A. This is done with a Nothing 45W PD Charger. It supports PD 3.0 and PPS charging standards.

You don’t need an original Nothing charger but you should search for one that supports the standards mentioned above.

I’m using 100W gan charger for my nothing phone 2A plus it was bit faster than other chargers, on the charger box you will get the data cable from C to C, also the charger have 3 sockets USB A, and two Type C.

The best chargers to use is only use chargers compatible with PPS/PD3.0/PD2.0/QC4.0/QC3.0/QC2.0/DCP/SDP/CDP this is recommended by Nothing.

The 33w Charger from CMF is good enough for 2a plus and charges the phone within 27 minutes from 20% to 80% where I only set the limit to 80%. It’s a good choice when you want to keep your mobile battery life in good condition.

Do not overthink it. Phone charging is protocol driven. Closest protocol match = optimal charging speed. Mismatch = compromised charging speed. Your phone supports PPS + PD 3.0 charging protocols and that includes charging cable also. If you are buying new, find a compliant charger from a reliable brand (Samsung, Anker, Nothing, CMF). Most affordable, yet reliable charger is the Samsung 25W fast charger. You can expect 15% to 90% charging time to be close to 50 min - 1 hr. If you already have a charger at home and are not interested in buying something new, it’s ok. Note down the charging speed and set your expectations accordingly. It won’t destroy your phone unless the charger is of very poor quality (some cheap knockoff).

hugomiguel_HAgysHkOeE does the 45W charger support PPS? Chargers like the Nothing 45W PD Charger also support PPS which seems to be the current best technology. Without the part numbers of your Samsung chargers I wouldn’t be able to guess which tech is implemented.

Yes. Exactly the same tech .. it’s just weird . The 45 watts charge just fine my s24, don’t charge nothing with my nothing phone.
