I bought these at launch in September 2021 when you had to sign up and get an availability confirmation.
The problem is that they have NEVER worked properly. Whether I was on a bus, train, plane or whatever, they kept losing the Bluetooth connection and cutting out.
I contacted tech support and was told to reinstall the app, update the hardware, firmware, iOS etc etc and they still didn’t work.
I gave up on them entirely for a year and went back to my Apple Airpods 2nd Gen – which ALWAYS work.
I recently thought I’d give them another go and experimented with the in-app sound settings.
I’ve just got back from holiday and, you guessed it, they didn’t work for longer than a couple of minutes. (Unlike my friend’s Airpods, which worked fine with my phone.)
Has anyone else had this problem?
My 2nd question is that, given that I bought them virtually at launch, is this a known production issue?
And, if so, what are Nothing Tech prepared to do about it?
