ParamveerSingh_R3fDXsM8li I have an update on this issue. The service centre guys admitted that its an unintended thing which is being caused by a combination of factors. First of all, it could be a software fault because nothing did a bad job doing color mapping. Secondly, hardware has a lot to do with this. Nothing uses BOE and visionOX displays. And almost all the BOE displays are facing the green tint issue as well as some other problems. So currently I’m counting on the NothingOS 3.0 update. If nothing improves, its a hardware thing.

ZEN_EBL5zUgEXF Actually I took an impulsive decision and bought 2a. I couldn’t see the green tint so i hunted for it, i did see it but it is literally just on the lock screen that too on dark mode with low brightness.

So far I’m really really happy with the phone.

Also I couldn’t observe any image retention, maybe becoz i use ultra small font size

Also i made sure to buy it from a good seller like croma, i really don’t trust flipkart.

ParamveerSingh_R3fDXsM8li I haven’t witnessed any issues yet so you can update to the october patch for sure. But its perfectly ok to wait until a stable NOS 3.0. I was planning to wait until february or march so I’d update to a much stable NOS 3.0 but I accidentally updated the phone.

ParamveerSingh_R3fDXsM8li yes its coming in december but as a rule of thumb, I refrain from installing major updates instantly as there’s a chance they bring unintended Problems with them. Especially the green line issue. (Although nothing hasn’t got that yet). And yes I’ve the Indian model

I’m personally gutted how awful my 2a+ has become after a week and a bit.

The OS is honestly the best I’ve tried with Android, but I have green tint/lines on lock screen (also uneven colour banding), and status bar burn in

Torn on whether to just keep or refund as defective… it’s probably just going to get worse with time so I’m just gutted

Hello, I have had my Phone 2a+ for over two weeks now. No such issues with the screen. A few jitters and lag across some apps in the first days, whilst it got optimised for my usage.

But a very capable phone and I am loving the 50MP selfie camera! 📸

Ealesy101 yours is not indian unit I guess. The indian units are doomed pieces of displays.

Hi bro I am using nothing 2a since 2 months and it has great experience with the phone

In every mobile there will be some problems which is common

As I am using this phone I am not getting any major problems and runs very good

The optimisation of the phone is very good

And finally yes I am also facing the line issue with when it is in darkmode with less brightness

If you use darkmode with more than 30 to 40% brightness then the issue will be solved

In light mode it doesn’t appear .

And yes I can make sure that nothing team will work on all the issues and give time to time updates

So,.I suggest you to go for any phone (2a /2a plus) Which were is less
