r1k2rs its still not fixed for me. I compared 2a vs 2a Plus both during calls and tested their proximity sensor. I found out that the sensor on 2a Plus is less sensitive as compared to 2a. I tested it by keeping both phones flat screen up, started a phone call from 2a to 2a Plus, and placed my hand over both phones simultaneously. I noticed that the screen on the 2a turns off when my hand is approximately 10 cm above the screen, whereas the 2a Plus screen turns off when I bring my hand much closer to the screen, approx 5 cm.
I donā€™t know if I explained it well, maybe Iā€™ll have to record a video for this.
Sometimes I completely press the phone against my ear but still, the screen doesnā€™t turn off. I am thinking of going to the service center for this.

Meet During a conversation, every second time I see the screen light up when I hold the phone to my ear.

Maybe hardware or software. I donā€™t know.

I reported it to the service. It seems to me that it is a software issue. The service will probably send me some codes to check.

r1k2rs exact same experience, sometimes I see the screen light up during a whole 10 mins call continuously. Tested this using an app on the playstore called as Sensor Test. It shows the proximity sensor has a 5 cm range, tested it by putting it on my ear. It felt inconsistent. I feel Nothing cheaped out on the hardware, I hope its a software bug which gets fixed when we get NOS 3.0 in 2025.
Keep me updated on the codes the service center sends you.
