BACKGROUND:
I have never used a charger or cable different from the one provided with the phone at the time of purchase.
PROBLEM:
A couple of days ago, the phone stopped charging. Assuming the issue was the cable, I replaced it with a different one (USB-C to USB-C), but the problem persisted.
I then concluded that the issue seemed to be with the charging brick, so I bought a new fast-charging brick with a USB-C to USB-C cable. However, the problem remains—I still can’t charge the phone.
After several tests, I determined that the phone only charges if I use a charger with a USB-A to USB-C cable.
Does anyone have an idea on this? I already wasted money purchasing a charger and cable that didn’t fix the problem
