I grew up in the states but have worked in many countries, all with their own challenge/reward systems.
I find SE England the toughest system in the western hemisphere as the talent pool is saturated and the infrastructure fully overloaded. So much talent, so much VC money, some little space/time and itβs all very over-subscribed. Thatβs the pressure that produces success.
By far the most interesting place to be in Europe, with a truly global reach (due to language and history) , with intense teams competing.
Also crazy tight on money for students/survival. Unlike anything else Iβve seen in Europe and Iβve seen a lot.
