Seeking videos from seek bar in my gallery is one of the element I use in daily life. So far it was good going. Today, I have downloaded an early access version of Nothing Gallery in my Nothing Phone (2) OS 2.6 Stable Latest. I’m happy how the seamless loading of my photos & videos in my gallery.

I have one thing for the feedback here, When I first play a video I didn’t find the bar and then tap functions I got over it. This is just taking one extra way of checking on about seek bar over Gallery. This minor detail is keeping me over to check everytime when I play videos.
I suggest to view seek bar as soon as it starts playing with every video as somewhere the movies can be shot long too.

Overall Look, colour, theme, animation. everything thing is amazing I do liked it alot.

But I think in the ‘photos’ section there should be only 5 photos in a row instead of 6, it seems so long and it’s becomes difficult to find a perticular photo.

And second thing is there is some glitch in “show in photos view”, if I trying to select the folders some of the folders are automatically getting deselected.

Default app- The app is not getting set as default, there’s no option to set it as default in settings either. If I click a photo and tap view it’s still opening with the help of Google photos.

If you open a photo, at the moment if you click there on edit it is showing options to redirect to further apps, hope this will be fixed soon and some filters and crop option will be available by own nothing gallery app.

‘Recently deleted’ - The symbol or logo to restore or delete the photo permanently is bit confusing both symbols looks so similar. Well it’s not a big problem cause it asks for extra confirmation to delete or restore the phone/video.

    I Recently Got New Gallery App Early Access And While It Does The Basics Well, I Feel There’s A Lot Of Potential To Make It Truly Exceptional, Especially With AI-Powered Features. Here Are Some Suggestions That Could Elevate The App And Make It More User-Friendly And Innovative:

    • Auto-Enhance : AI automatically improves photo quality, adjusting brightness, contrast, and color.
    • Duplicate Detection : Help us clean up storage by identifying duplicate or blurry photos.
    • Face Recognition : For Sorting Persons all pic at once.
    • Generative Fill : Fill in missing parts of photos or extend backgrounds.
    • Memory Highlights : Create automatic collages or video stories of trips and events.
    • Secret Vault : A hidden spot for your private stuff, locked tight. (IT’S MUST THO)
    • Super Search : Find anything, fast. Search by keywords, faces, or what’s in the pic.
    • Video Editor : Trim, merge, and add effects to your videos with AI-assisted editing tools.

    These are just a few ideas that could make the gallery app more dynamic and enjoyable to use. I think these features would also set it apart from other apps and add a “wow” factor for users.

    The new gallery app is awesome. Though I only use a gallery if I can actually open it trough the camera. And not in the camera settings nor the phone settings there is a setting for default gallery app.

    How do I set the new app as default then?

    So I installed Nothing Gallery beta, but I’m confused with the following fact: when you tap on your photo in Camera app, you still get dropped into G-Photos. How this can be fixed

      I recently got the Nothing Gallery application on my NOS 2.6 via Play Store.

      The application looks really well optimised and animations are also very well done. The human cut-out feature is also accurate.

      But how do I set Nothing Gallery as my default gallery application?
