Same problem in nothing phone 2
I have sleep standby optimization turned off and I have made all apps on default (may ring or vibrate based on device settings) yet most apps push notification only appear when I unlock my Nothing phone 2. I have an iPhone and yet my iPhone gets push notification before my Nothing phone. I’m new to Android devices and Nothing phones if there is something I’m missing please educate me because this is frustrating.
thathandsomedevilll The problem is with Nothing and its latest OS 3.0 update. It’s been over two months now and there’s still no solution or response.
thathandsomedevilll there’s nothing to educate you about. Forget iPhones but you can pick any 100 dollar phone from random abcd brand and that will give you proper push notifications, any phone will, except the nothing phone 2a, and probably other nothing phones as well. Just throw it in the bin, the only place where it belongs.
Just turn off manage app if unused in app info section for the specific app who is affected .. doing this my dealy issue got fixed
HansilJoshi I’m using CmF Phone 1 and facing same issues
Just go to app info of which you are facing this issue and turn off .. manage app if unused
it would solve it .. my cmf also had this issue . Turning this off sloved it
Has anyone updated to the latest version and can confirm that the notification issues have been resolved?
Flanagan yeah buddy its still there
Maybe will fix in 3.1
AteebJawaid So everything continues the same?
Flanagan well you can try turning off the manage app if unused option and also disable the adaptive battery feature that help me a lot so my notification are not dalyed much as compared to previous Times
AteebJawaid By deactivating these two options do you notice any improvement?
Flanagan by disabling those to future I have notice that my notification are now much consistent and havent noticed major delay in notification
AteebJawaid I’ve disabled the smart battery but I’m still having issues with notifications
Flanagan then I am not sure because this setting has worked for me quite a bit it’s a software issue from nothing and only nothing good fix it right now I guess I have also faced it in another phone which was honor and that issue is still there so let’s just hope that nothing fix it
AteebJawaid But the thing is that with version 2.6 everything worked correctly
Flanagan yes brother that’s why I say it’s nothing software issue I think they know about this and probably they are going to fix it in next update of 3.1
And also I guess not everyone is facing this issue because I see very lless people talk about it
AteebJawaid That’s what strikes me most. Not many people talk about it, but they complain about other things that don’t happen to me, for example. I understand that it depends on each case.
