I can confirm that. I often only receive a notification when the smartphone has been unlocked. It doesn’t matter which app it is. Whether it’s WhatsApp, a banking app or email.

Since the last update in my Nothing phone 2a, I am getting delayed notifications in almost every app. Like sometimes my phone is in idle mode, and I will receive some notifications together, and I will check that the notifications came actually 10, 15 mins ago. Sometime in gmail and instagram I won’t get any notifications but after opening that app I will get all of the notifications together. This is seriously hampering my work as I use work apps in my phone.

Guys ,I have observed that my notifications from instagram and Gmail aren’t getting delayed instead the time shown is wrong ,if someone sends me a reel just now the notification is showing that it was 5 minutes ago ,can anyone confirm if this is happening to you ?

    Do they have any intention of fixing though? They are busy scamming people with the 3a. One thing, whether this problem started from the 3.0 update? Can anyone confirm? I read some comments that there was no problem with notifications on 2.6

      I have sleep standby optimization turned off and I have made all apps on default (may ring or vibrate based on device settings) yet most apps push notification only appear when I unlock my Nothing phone 2. I have an iPhone and yet my iPhone gets push notification before my Nothing phone. I’m new to Android devices and Nothing phones if there is something I’m missing please educate me because this is frustrating.

        thathandsomedevilll there’s nothing to educate you about. Forget iPhones but you can pick any 100 dollar phone from random abcd brand and that will give you proper push notifications, any phone will, except the nothing phone 2a, and probably other nothing phones as well. Just throw it in the bin, the only place where it belongs.

            Just turn off manage app if unused in app info section for the specific app who is affected .. doing this my dealy issue got fixed
