So see now it is on sound. If i have to put my phone on vibrate mode i have to click on the vibrate button. Soo i would be cool to just slide to it.

A lot of custom ROMs & Motorola’s hello UI has a option to press & hold the volume keys when scree is locked it changes the playing music next or previous. I missed this feature in NOS hoping it’s being added in a future update.

we require an island in the screen where v will receive only sms information about payments received to us. It must be accompanied with a Christmas bell notification, will make us happy.. can be easily carried out using Ai.

Currently, the Nothing Phone (2a) does not provide an option to manage connected devices when using the mobile hotspot. This means users cannot:

See which devices are connected
Limit the number of devices
Block or disconnect unwanted users

Why This is a Problem?

Drains battery faster when too many devices connect
Increases data usage without control
No way to prevent unauthorized access after sharing the hotspot once

I was thinking it would be great if we could get native utility apps like

Nothing vault / drive to store essentials
Mp3 player & video player ( I know it’s already suggested)
Nothing measure app ( it’s very useful app trust me I have been using it in iOS a lot comes in handy tool)
Nothing compass
Nothing socials / community app like reddit
Calculator ( please 👋🏻)
Nothing camera filters that have retro vibes and that grainy feel
Nothing notes ( similar to obsedian but on steroids or you can say powered by The Nothing community)
Nothing type ai ( hear me out swipe from bottom left of the screen to toggle a mini ai that can talk or we can type our query to it it has to be quite ( if we need any help in a meeting it should not scream like siri or gemini) and quick and lite
Lastly a Nothing music / beat maker ( more like those electronic octopads app 👋🏻 please please)
Nothing pay app
Nothing chat ( like those old blackberry messenger)

Feel free to add more essentials that will be useful and more like EDC in Nothing pocket

I was also thing if we could use a camera button to quickly deploy measurement app or translation app/ai

I would love to see:

A switch to disable/enable Vibration during unlocking.
A switch to disable/enable Vibration duringflip to glyph.
Ability to Pin apps in the TABS
A Clear All button under (close or instead of the screenshot button currently in place) the app tabs menu instead of all the way left.
View Gallery as a list with a small thumbnail
Slide finger to select more than one picture after long pressing the first one. Right now we have to tap each pictures once, it can take a while to manage and sort photos.
Nothing Skinned Dialer and contact, Calendar, Calculator, Text Message (And all basic functions in general)
Ability to put the calculator inside of a folder
Ability to create subfolder at least one level
different one handed mode. In addition to the existing squaring the screen mode: have a shrink (Ie Full Screen showing but smaller down in one corner) to left/right corner by swiping across the bottom of the screen left or right.
Locking the secret app drawer.
Ability to hide the secret app drawer behind a reverse pinch gesture (expand the two fingers like a zoom)
open the customize menu by pinching with two fingers on the main screen.

Better notification centre - The notification drawer of nothing OS 3.0 looks just too simple there is no functionality there , two separate space for quick setting and notification history will be really osm, like in IOS and many other android UI
Their is soo many shutters and lags while closings the apps the animation stuck 3/10 times So, improve the animations like Oxygen OS .
The emojis are tooo off , can’t nothing implement emojis like wise in samsung or ios their emojis looks cool.

4.The battery icon in status bar is kinda booring nothing should work on that and redesign it .

The Ringtones and notification sounds are just disturbing ik it’s unique but after some time you’ll get irritated, cause every tone is high pitched it kinda irritates the ear something soothing will be osm
The colours produce by camera is soo much brighter and skin tone looks artificial the green colour produce uneven, the hardware is good the software part is lacking
More AOD options, should implement flux themes clock colour etc These are my feedback after using nothing 2a plus for 4-5 months.

PulkitGhorse Amazing feedback! Last week, I updated to OS 3.0 and encountered some of these issues, particularly the quick settings scaling, which is bugging me out:

OS 3.0 vs 0S 2.6

At the same DPI settings, the scaling in OS 3.0 appears more inconsistent. For example, the “Bedtime Mode” (Modo Descanso) tile can no longer fit the text properly, and the brightness slider is unnecessarily large.

Also, the media player is now taller and the font size has decreased, even though I didn’t change the font settings.

I hope the Nothing team addresses this in a future update. For the wishlist, I will also add my two cents:

Don’t lose the dotted font. Unique details like that made us fall in love with Nothing OS.
I ’m also feeling some little skeuomorphic details like the analog lockscreen clock or the recorder app design. Please continue in that direction.
