Rob ⚡️ Guys, I have the beta installed but I haven’t received the official update yet. what can I do to receive it?

_4j_fM2IQWh7yJ Anything new about this? I’ve rooted the phone as well and now I’m rather terrified of updating 😅

Akash_Soni I’m totally with you on this and other key elements which could have been added is that, as they allow the user to re shape the folder of apps, they should also allow an app to be shaped as widget have like 2×1, 2×2 with different shapes as well, secondly there should be options like creating your own vibration patterns which would help you to recognise calls or alarms without looking at the screen, 3rdly choosing a Font is a personal decision they should allow to install different set of fonts through app or their own catalogue, 4rthly i really would have appreciated a Nothing phone app thats more smooth and unlocks new features, 5thly they should allow to redesign favourite tray for instance i want to place my phone app at the left bottom of the screen woth 2×2 size but i cant. 🙄. i can come up with 150 other problems which needs improvement like they don’t allow the brightness setting to be applied on lockscreen, it just shines like sun in my eyes every morning and i can’t do anything about it.

Nothing OS 3.0 is awesome with exciting new features, experimental features, and widgets.

  1. Still “AMOLED BLACK BACKGROUND” is missing.
  2. Optimization is required for the customization page, where after applying clock styles to the lock screen the page overlaps the text (setting > customization)
  3. The weather app and countdown widget are missing.
  4. Native Android feature wallpaper zoom-in and zoom-out effects are missing.
  5. Security feature like during powering off the phone should ask for confirming fingerprint.
  6. In the Gallery app, AI features are missing, and improvement is needed in the search section.

gagan010602 I think this update is okay for all nothing users for now. Later they’ll try to get this features in future updates let’s wait. I also need that necessary things in my phone but wee need to stay calm for the proper release 😊

Installed on the nothing phone 1

No problems at all and stable, just a few missing widgets

Merged 2 posts from Everyone pay attention:Nothing OS 3.0..... .

I installed NOS 3.0 on my brand-new Phone (1), and it’s looking good and stable for me. I just realized one problem: Google Assistant doesn’t work with voice commands. I’m not sure if this is a general problem, but I really searched for a solution and couldn’t find solution. Can anyone help me?

P.S.: Before I installed NOS 3.0, I was using the latest NOS 2.6, and this problem was still there.

I didn’t have this problem before. My previous system was beta 3.0 in my phone 2.The system forces all icons to be black and white, but I still miss the old interface that was part black and part color. How can I set it up? 🙃

I have updated to Nothing OS 3.0 and I am impressed. But there is a problem. Some apps are not going over camera hole. For example, efootball mobile. Here is the picture.

Ok you are saying that nothing phone 1 will get nothing OS 3.0 with android 15 update on Jan 2025 ?Last time android 14 update was there at the promised time, why this postpone of update this time?

abejamephili Nothing (lol). It’s not a mobile phone anymore, it’s a portable phone. I don’t know how to sell this phone while knowing I’ll screw someone over

Where can I download a beta for my cmf phone?

Here it is. Also quick setting panelonly shows bluetooth battery and not the icon of my tws.

Yo, after this update, my glyph interface acting weird. I’ve earlier before the update set a few essentials for specific chats and set a glyph signal. Now it starts to blink even thos i have not gotten any notification, i swiped the notification and it stills blinking as in i’ve gotten a new message. Important to say is that i am currently charging (charge set to 80% limit) with the phone flipped down as well. I’ve checked settings and also restarted my phone, anyone know why the glyph interface acting like this?

I’ll update the info if it change when i charged it and unplug the charger or if it still occurs.

Update: It stopped blinking after i unplugged the charger. And i use the official Nothing charger, if that matters. I have also sent feedback to Nothing.
