Using a real-time dark social platform for the community is certainly something we discussed. I love Discord, I’m a big fan of it, have used it a lot in the past working in community and creator management. It might be that as our team and the community grow in parallel, it’s something we look at, but it can be harder to follow and moderate (as an admin and as a user) when you start getting 1,000s of people in there. For that reason, it could be that it becomes something we look at for smaller groups - i.e. investors once the forum goes public, mod teams etc.
The forum, though, expands our web presence and affords us a nice solid structure, but one that can also grow and develop dynamically too as the community does. 🙂
