Animation issues with third party launchers

I am using Lawnchair, It’s literally best launcher. After NOS 3.0 update animations became very laggy. I tried Nova launcher but there is same problem.

Why? I really don’t want to use default nothing launcher - it’s like really bad. Can’t rename apps, forced to use google search app in dock and etc. 🙁

Олежа Yes I’ve experienced the same on my Nothing phone 2 after updating it to nothing os 3.0 based on Android 15 while using the Niagara launcher. It was working just fine before the update.

Same with Nova Launcher, i deleted it because of this glitch

AhtyshamAfzal I asked in Lawnchair tg chat, they told me it’s Android 15 issue. So we need to wait when Google fix this, then wait when vendors (Nothing, Samsung, etc) push this update to their phones.

I think it will take a half a year.

BTW, I deleted Lawnchair and tried to stick with Google dock widget. After I turn off telemetry and search ads it’s not that bad.

Nothing should solve this issue by issuing an update as soon as possible. Nothing please do the needful ASAP 🙏

Unluckily it’s seem custom launcher should accommodate to nothing phone. Don’t see reason why nothing need to overcome this glitch.

ijatijat_e5Gg0ibRRg better launchers are available so why not and we are not using iphone that we will stick to stock launcher we are using android it’s open source

SamarthNP1 I have tips to get rid of blank display when swipe up. Disable swipe navigation. Use traditional 3 button insteads. It’s working

It’s andriod glitch. Not manufacturer. Most custom launcher has swipe function problem. Just stick with traditional navigation.
