Hey, I just updated my NP 2a to NOS 3.0, after the update I noticed that there’s a bug in Home Screen because of which the apps inside the folder cannot display their icon. PFA the image for clarity.
I’m disappointed to see NOS 3.0, was really excited about it(I didn’t try beta to enjoy the new stable OS directly) with new features but there are barely some new exciting features that are actually of use and make sense other than the UI changes.
Points I feel should be considered by the Nothing Dev Team:
- In Quick Settings, provide an option to the user if he wants to see the icon label in the Quick Settings panel or not. Personally, I find it really annoying and difficult to find the icon I want to tap on. It’s like I have to memorize now that this icon will do this action.
- On the lock screen, clicking on the clock widget should show a scrollable menu displaying upcoming alarms, a shortcut to start a timer, to a show calendar, etc right through the lock screen directly at a glance.
- Please bring new useful AI features for gallery or photos, alongside improving the existing ML for the app drawer. The app category is not accurate.
- Wallpaper settings should now also offer Live Wallpapers for Home and Lock screens other than static wallpapers.
Well, there are multiple places where I felt “this could be done better” but the above points are REALLY NEEDED from the user’s POV.
