Hi guys! I’ve just seen that the OS3 got out, I have the Phone (2a) but I have no updates, why?

    Alfyus it hasn’t reached me either, I’m on beta 2, those who have the beta should receive it first, but it hasn’t arrived yet. And what’s more, there isn’t even an ota package available to install it manually.

        Got it installed on my Nothing 2a. Works well so far, only draw back at the moment is when I make a call it sounds like the person is under water… wasn’t doing that on 2.6.

        I onestly haven’t installed the beta, phone was new and I didn’t want to (in the worst case) factory reset the phone. Do you think we’ll get the update soon?

              MihneaPerianu There is already international network access, but the update cannot be downloaded. Which domain names or IP addresses require international network to download and update? Or is there an ota update package available for download?

                  5g data auto switching to 4g after the update … it is very irritating…..please fix thia … and yes the smart 5g is disabled

                  In the update, the Notching Gallery was introduced, but it cannot be set as the default app for opening photos.

                    How can i remove the notification bar when playing games? The old 2.6 didn’t have this problem! One more thing: where is the countdown widget in the video ?

                      I’m a nothing phone 2a user and my sound and vibration bar is not expanding as they promised with 3.0 update

                      I updated to NOS 3.0 and faced the internet issue, like my internet keeps on fluctuating between 5G+,4G, and 5G++. And the speeds are heavily hampered as a result.

                      I never faced this problem before on my 1.5 month old nothing 2a.

                        sanojismail yes same issue here. My internet speed is reduced after update and sometimes due to network issue youtube stops working

                          After the update,nothing phone 2a is hanging sometimes and it’s had increased more on 2nd day after update .pls solve this problem

                          Anybody facing apps logo not appearing in recent apps menu?

                          Hey, I just updated my NP 2a to NOS 3.0, after the update I noticed that there’s a bug in Home Screen because of which the apps inside the folder cannot display their icon. PFA the image for clarity.

                          I’m disappointed to see NOS 3.0, was really excited about it(I didn’t try beta to enjoy the new stable OS directly) with new features but there are barely some new exciting features that are actually of use and make sense other than the UI changes.

                          Points I feel should be considered by the Nothing Dev Team:

                          1. In Quick Settings, provide an option to the user if he wants to see the icon label in the Quick Settings panel or not. Personally, I find it really annoying and difficult to find the icon I want to tap on. It’s like I have to memorize now that this icon will do this action.
                          2. On the lock screen, clicking on the clock widget should show a scrollable menu displaying upcoming alarms, a shortcut to start a timer, to a show calendar, etc right through the lock screen directly at a glance.
                          3. Please bring new useful AI features for gallery or photos, alongside improving the existing ML for the app drawer. The app category is not accurate.
                          4. Wallpaper settings should now also offer Live Wallpapers for Home and Lock screens other than static wallpapers.

                          Well, there are multiple places where I felt “this could be done better” but the above points are REALLY NEEDED from the user’s POV.
