I’ve been on the hunt for a nice charging dock / cradle for the CMF by Nothing watches for a while and I found something that’s almost perfect I wanted to share. Now, I know there are various 3D printable ones floating around here and there, but I don’t have a 3D printer nor do I want the hassle of having to ‘print’ one from someone. I just want something I can buy, that’s of a decent quality.
The one I found is from Ali Express and looks to be mold injected plastic and comes in a few pieces that you assemble. It has an interesting design and came in some different colours; I elected to go with the grey version as this seemed more in tune with the CMF brands colours. The dock itself is made of rubber and designed to use your existing cable which you can put inside. The bottom of the dock as rubber feet to keep the dock from sliding around and the cable can be hidden inside the frame.
I quite like this dock, but sadly, as it isn’t designed for the CMF Watches specifically, I had to cut into the rubber to get the cable to fit inside. While it’s not a perfect fit, it is possible to use and charge the watches despite the different pin positions. The original Watch Pro has pins at the top of the watch while the Watch Pro 2 has them at the bottom so the positioning on the dock can be odd.
What do you reckon? Thoughts? Would you love it - if CMF made an official dock for the watches? or some other company perhaps?
