Nothing Phone (1) Camera feedback

As a proud owner of the Nothing Phone 1, I am very satisfied with the camera’s performance. However, I would like to suggest an update.

Recently, I have been exploring the expert functions of the camera, and I believe it would be fantastic to extend these capabilities to video and other features, such as time-lapse and panoramic function.

Specifically, I would love to see the expert mode’s extended exposure settings for night captures combined with a time-lapse feature for capturing stunning night skies and Northern Lights.

This is just a suggestion for a function that I think would be very useful, but perhaps I am asking too much

It’s not even a year since I bought the nothing phone 1 and the battery has been drastically draining, there’s also an camera issue where after taking a photo there’s a 3 - 4 strips of shadows automatically showing on the photo, I took my phone to the local mobile repair shop which was registered by Nothing because nothing doesn’t have its own, so the local guy tells me it will cost me money for him to check on the phone as there was a dent on the sides as it’s nothing’s policy and it was a slight dent, also my phone was under warranty. (I can give you the photos with shadow issues, also my SoT for reference)

Hi, I have noticed a peculiar issue on my nothing phone 1 - The camera app freezes sometimes, only on the Main Camera. The Wide angle always works.

If I try a different app such as Gcam, the screen is black for the Main camera.

When I hit my phone near the camera… or at the back top side, the camera starts working again.

I have tested this a dozen times and it always starts working after hitting / putting pressure near the camera

Is this due to a bad connection between the camera and the phone? Should I take this to the service center? I searched and could not find anyone with a similar issue

My Phone(1) is just one year old now,but recently I noticed when I am using it to record videos or audio,there is a buzzing sound which is heard instead of the sound.

Everything was fine just a week back….please tell me what to do.

Bro my phone (1) camera keeps faking clicking pictures help?? I take a quick picture then I close my phone cuz I am in a hurry but I remember clicking a picture with the shutter sound and everything but then later when I go to look at it, it never existed in the first place?? Bro what this has happened more than 5 times. Please do the needful phone 1 Devs

Sxthxs the camera will never be resolved, everytime I raise this issue, some idiot nothing fanboy comes and starts defending the company by saying that it is a small company, no one gives update for older models etc.

Well, if a small company can mess up a phone’s camera, they can also fix it. What has their size got to do with it?

I’ve been reporting this flickering (anti-banding) issue in the Nothing Phone 1’s camera since launch, but there’s still no fix! Even budget phones don’t have this problem, yet Nothing has ignored it across all models and OS versions.
