Nothing OS 3.0

This update transitions you to the official release of Nothing OS 3.0, powered by Android 15. Full of exciting new features and improvements to enhance your everyday experience. Here’s what’s in store:

Shared Widgets

🔮 Use widgets to link up with friends and family. See another person’s widgets displayed on your home screen and interact with each other through reactions. A new way to stay connected.

Shared Widgets are currently only supported between Nothing devices. And only Photo Widgets (square) can be shared. We are rapidly developing support for other widgets, so stay tuned!

Notes: As Shared Widgets are in beta, you might encounter some issues. We appreciate your patience as we work to enhance your experience.

🔒 Introduced new lock screen customisation page. Access by long-pressing the lock screen or via the Customisation page.

🕰️ Choose from a range of new Clock face styles.

🖼️ Expanded widget space, allowing you to place more widgets on your lock screen.

New app drawer style

🤖 Added AI-powered Smart Drawer to automatically categorise your apps into folders, keeping your app drawer organised and making apps easy to find.

📌 Now you can pin your favourite apps to the top of the app drawer for quick access to your favourite apps.

Enhanced pop-up view

📱 Drag the pop-up view to any position on the screen, for convenient multitasking.

📐 Easily resize the pop-up view by dragging the bottom corners.

NOS 3.0 is not complete need much more fixes like battery camera features specially in NP2 camera need to be fix and proper fix of

    1. Dynamic range and HDR Stability process time

    2.charging issue are there

    3. Better Audio profile for 3rd party Earbuds

I have problems with my data connection since before 3.0 and I still don’t understand why it fails, I don’t know if it’s the sim card or I can’t just cover the sim tray but it’s very annoying because watching a video is torture.

Does it happen on Wifi too or just mobile data? If it’s only for your mobile data, you might want to talk to your network provider, sometimes SIM cards can fail or be faulty and cause connection issues. Had a similar situation in the past, my carrier got me a new SIM and it worked better than the old one.

However sometimes the actual SIM reader in the phone can be faulty, in which case it needs to be repaired.

Also make sure your phone supports the network bands and frequencies of your carrier.

I am also facing over heating, battery drain, camera related issues. Camera is not like it was when I bought my Nothing phone 2

    Dear Team,

First of all, I would like to thank you for all the fantastic new features introduced in the NOS3 update. The improvements have been impressive, and I appreciate the effort you’ve put into enhancing the user experience.

However, I must bring to your attention a significant issue that is impacting my network performance. The support for WiFi 6E (6 GHz WiFi), which was functional in NOS2, has been removed in NOS3. I understand that WiFi 6E is currently under review in India, but I am located in Japan, where it is fully legal and supported. Japan is known for its fast internet infrastructure, and I am on a 10 Gbps connection. Without access to the 6 GHz band, a substantial portion of my bandwidth is being wasted.

This change is not only affecting my usage but also appears to be undocumented in the changelog, which has caused further confusion. Considering the importance of regional compliance and user needs, I strongly urge you to enable WiFi 6E support based on location or region.

Thank you once again for all the fantastic updates. I hope you can address this issue promptly to ensure a seamless and optimized experience for users like me.

I have similar blutooth issues after update to android 15. No response from Nothing suport. Cant connect to any bluetooth device. No handsfree no Ear buds etc. Phone is useless to me now.

Facing Bluetooth calling issue on car stereo Nothing OS3.0, only media working

Everytime need to restart to connect, it was working fine with beta version, stable having issues.

      Anyone else facing similar issues

Have you tried forgetting the device on both ends, either on the Android/car system and the Nothing phone, and then reconnecting? Not just on one of them?

I have an Android radio and haven’t had any issues with the Phone (2), and I have it connected via Bluetooth. Are you using CarPlay or Android Auto?

Since switching to OS3.0 I have had massive problems with the Bluetooth on both the radio and my smartwatch. The connection is not established or is constantly lost.

True I also have Bluetooth connectivity stability issue. I think it’s related to Bluetooth versions. Nothing should support
