I’d love to see a future Nothing platform that focuses on fostering engagement but also offers deeply integrated collaboration tools between Nothing and Nothing’s community members to bring us all closer together.

The platform MUST be user-friendly with intuitive navigation, navigation that’s as clean and buttery smooth as navigating NothingOS.  Speaking of NothingOS, an App with a host of customizable widgets for said community app is an absolute must have, further enabling the community to engage.  The app will need to be responsive and must work across multiple mobile operating systems ensuring community members who may not yet own a Nothing device, can take part and feel equally included.

Fully customizable user profiles that have interactive widgets and avatars would be cool.  Customizable bios, links, etc. are important too so members can express themselves.

Some members have already mentioned this but a gamification system with badges/rankings, as well as maybe even a streak system similar to Discord, would really drive engagement across the platform but also would highlight active members that new members could trust as they signup for the community.  It would also be a great way for Nothing to reward community members further encouraging participation in Nothing campaigns etc..

Real time messaging built within the platform, along with privatized direct messaging would really elevate the overall experience.  Understandably so, real time messaging is quite difficult and not as easy to moderate but it would move many from the Discord to the Nothing platform and it may be necessary in really brining the entire community to the Nothing Community platform, as many of us engage on Discord because it’s real time, easily accessible, familiar to many, and available across multiple devices with rather great moderation in place.

Tools for content creation and easily sharing images and video content specific to highlighting Nothing products throughout the community while providing an outlet for the creative community members out there to share their work.

Powerful search and discovery is an absolute must have as well.  As community members we often refer others to the current community or the Discord when they’re experiencing issues with a Nothing product for example.  Typically our go to response is please search the Discord/community.  Powerful search functionality will help the community members find topics and content easily.  Tag systems for tagging and appropriately categorizing content will help organize the content and in some ways help self moderate content shared when leveraging predetermined set tags.

Community member analytics / private summary page to understand the users engagement and overall impact on the platform can help community members see a summary of their content and understand their overall engagement insights.

Accessibility features utilizing many of the accessibility mobile web standards so all users can easily access and take part in the community.

An easily accessible feature / tool where members can provide consistent feedback where Nothing admins can also regularly share updates to the community platform.  Maybe even through the ranking system noted above, create a top 10 community member “board” that helps speak for the community in live community feedback sessions held on a regular basis that all community members can join, similar to the great community updates shared on Nothing products.

Just a few ideas that quickly came to mind this morning, now time for more coffee☕! I love seeing all the feedback here already and I can’t wait to see the Nothing Community continue to grow and expand.  Looking forward to what’s to come!!!

Natalie ✨

I would love an Android / IOS application for the Community and here are some points that i would love to have it here:

Dark Mode 😅

Community Members -Generated Content Showcase: Allow community members to showcase their creations or customizations related to Nothing products. This could include custom cases, accessories, or even software modifications.

Community Challenges and Contests: Organize regular challenges and contests related to Nothing products or tech-related themes. This can ignite creativity, build excitement, and foster a competitive yet friendly environment.

User Groups and Clubs: Allow users to form interest-based groups or clubs within the community to connect with like-minded individuals, whether for professional networking, hobby sharing, or support.

Natalie ✨ what i really love is a Ear1/2 eq preset sharing community or apps or website which suits best and please made this community website public i mean more user friendly share as much as you can hype it up and even possible made an apps especially for community. And 1 more request please make nothing watch official from your site not thru CMF and i still got a better idea made nothing official store website/apps which we can buy directly from it. And even interface with banking so customer can buy using emi and much more. That’s all for now this got so many idea’s. Peace and ✌️

Thanks @Natalie ✨ for organising this Contest. Would be my first participation on the Nothing Community, i believe.

I’ve been a part of many Communities in the last 20 years or so. So I’ll try and share my insights and ideas, as much as I can.

  1. Make the Community Platform more ‘Mobile Friendly’, as most of the users access the Community or their favourite platforms, mostly on their mobile devices.

  2. There should be a Bar at the Top with 5-6 (or more) options which can be named as "Home, Groups, Contests, Messages/Notifications, Events, FAQ’s, AFH (Ask For Help), Regions, etc. Now these options on the top bar should stay on top the entire time, so that users can shuffle to their desired page/sections quickly.

  3. Faster upload for photographs etc. I understand that Nothing Community is in the process of being built, solid.

  4. Option to make our Profile page more personalised and should have all the records of our threads, comments, posts etc, incase a user ever needs to access any of them.

  5. Have an option to sort the comments in “Latest, Earliest, Oldest” order. Easier to sort through the comments sometimes, on threads which a user is following.

  6. Make the Dialogue boxes or buttons in each page, thread, more user friendly. Like I just realised on an article by Natalie, that on top there is a Star Sign which means I can chose to follow the thread if: a) Not following - be notified only when @mentioned. b) following - be notified of all replies, c) ignoring - never be notified. Hide from the discussion list. Now this feature is so nice and I really like the simplicity of it.

  7. Keeping in mind my 6th point, may be there can be a “How to - Guideline” explaining all features of the Nothing Community, would be great.

  8. IMPORTANT Suggestion: Can we have an option, by any chance, of having a live radio in the background ? There can be a Radio Sign/button which a user can toggle on/off as per their needs, but would be great to spend time on the Community, while listening to the same music, as other users. This way, we will always have something common to talk about ?

Here are a few ideas:

  1. Based on the engagement of users here you can give out a VIP role (or whatever you wanna name it) for a month (like VIP or whatever of this month X) so that more people get engaged to get a chance to have that role.
  2. Have a section for community projects here as well like we have on Discord. Just display the projects with a screenshot and add the link to Discord.
  3. Changing the UI of this website a little, like adding a bit more animations on the homepage which can have sections like Phone series, Ear series, Support, FAQs, and more in boxes which you can click, and all information related to that section will appear.
  4. Milestone roles when a user completes, for example, 15 posts then the user will get a Level 1 role.. when they post 30 posts they will get a Level 2 role, and so on. A similar thing can be done for comments. And both of these (posts & comments) can have a leaderboard.
  5. This website can also have a section where you guys can display your products, like just list them so that if any new user visits then that user can be redirected to the buying page of nothing.
  6. Maybe add a section “Ask Co-founders” and you guys can select a few questions that any co-founder can answer in the quarterly videos.

Natalie ✨ It would be nice and more contribution-motivating to have a separate app for the community, official updates, videos and the web store. It would be a true platform then with even more of the Nothing aesthetic.

Also, the app really could benefit from one-tap calendar event creation. I have rsvp’d to multiple events on Discord but they did not stand out as much since I have other Discord activity.

Another highly regarded ‘feature’ would be a bit more open communication with us about software updates, schedules and the like.

All in all however, everything looks like a very lively and awesome bunch of people having fun. I open these community outlets of Nothing with genuine excitement every time.

Natalie ✨ I would love to see an app maybe something similar to what Samsung does with its Samsung members app I think there are like ranks or levels to show how helpful someone is or how much they know

I would like to see the Feedback reports section here for better tracking of issues for users. That would reduce the duplicate reports and give the devs ability to see how many users face the same issue. It also would be more transparent than private Zendesk (current one). We should still report bugs with Settings > Feedback from device but they should appear to everyone here.

I understand some of the bugs have personal or private data like IMEI or serial numbers so there should be some moderation for posts before going public.

Also, dark mode based on system theme.

There’s a few things I can think of at the moment:

  • I like the fact that you can press the “reply badge” and see the whole comment that is being replied to, but I think it would be better if the replies were located directly under the comments which are being replied to; maybe indented as well like on Reddit. It just makes conversations much easier to not only read but to continue as well.
  • Make the message box persistent at the bottom of the page so we don’t have to scroll through all the comments to add to the conversation.
  • An app would be great as we could get notifications and would just make it easier for people to participate I think.
I love the depth of formatting options we have for comments, feels like a full on text editor

Always good to hear feedback and work on improving the product wherever makes sense and innovative.

A community app would be a quick win for getting feedback from community members.

Overall I think Nothing made a good decision in entering to Fashion, as it wil reach border public and creates brand image .

Natalie ✨ Heyy Good day! Cheers to everyone reading this 🙂
Firstly, for starters, there could perhaps be a bot of sorts that could clear out the FAQ’s or the basics of how the community works.

Secondly, the entire nothing community site could perhaps be redone, pardon me if I’m being a little mean but trust me I love the company and I dont mean to be rude at all, but the site for a simple user could be a little confusing of sorts, perhaps could be curated or beautified a little bit, like for example, the latest activity section could be simplified as in could be divided into topics rather than users (due to the cluttered look from my pov).

Thirdly, there could be sort of competetions like maybe, sharing the best photo with nothing device or best setup on the phone etc, within the community for higher involvement of users, whether in a particular forum or in general. It would be super exciting for everyone!

Fourth, This maybe a bit far stretched but perhaps, community in regional language? Have a seperate site or a subdivision of regional language forums? Just a thought I had because there are a lot of people who arent very comfortable with english.

Fifth, Maybe add a tab that shows insights and like a graph/tab or like a pie chart as to which forum has the highest involvement. Would be cool to see a graphic animation to see the most involved forum

Sixth, Dark theme on the site please :")

Seventh, Assigning badges/medals to most communicating person on the forum or like a nothing badge to the nothing team.

Allright I think thats going to be long enough, hope I didnt bore ya’ll.
    THANKS!
    NOTHING ❤️

Natalie ✨ I’d love to see feedback from team to reported issues, like “We’ll keep an eye on this” or “Scheduled for fix”. This would give massive impact on community engagement.

    And, a dark theme.

I haven’t been around these parts for very long, but one thing i’d like to see implemented here some kind of reward system (not that we actually needed to receive gifts or such).

I remember at some of the other websites/communities webmasters implemented a simple thing as karma points, they could be positive karma points or negative karma points. That way the moderators, admins & members themselves could more easily see if a member was abiding by the rules of the forum or not; their memberships would also change accordingly, they’d have different feedback scores and with that all members could earn some sort of reputation. Their were different tiers for that.

Also a fun to thing to add might be different mood setting, i mean we are still human beings and we all experience different moods - each member could select these fairly easy on their profile page or even while posting in a section.

One more thing (i can’t remember if it is already implemented here) ; profile visits, i’d like to see who visits mine.

The last thing, i have been using tapatalk for quite some time and i actually like it, can i find this community on the Tapatalk app as well?

Natalie ✨ loved the overall community nothing fans are becoming more active in the community as the days passed…i would love to see an nothing community app as it is more convenient to get notification and everything ..i like to see dedicated sections for each product on the top bar rather than in the discussion in the middle of the page like i shown in the screenshot and a separate division for official updates from the admins and want to see the posts or highlighted posts whenever i open community website rather the seeing divisions of the discussion in the homepage like i mentioned want to see the individual product sections and threads and top bar and i would love to see the badges section 1month 6month and year streak daily login points tasks in community which provides point which we can use in various redemption for merchandise like that

    Natalie ✨

Nothing Community is a good platform to interact with the consumers and get the feed back directly.

I have a few suggestions for nothing community:

    1. Product Support Forums: Create dedicated sections for users to ask questions and receive help related to Nothing’s phones and earbuds. This can include troubleshooting, FAQs, and user-generated solutions.

    2. User Reviews and Ratings: Allow customers to submit reviews and ratings for products they’ve purchased. This can help build trust and provide valuable insights to potential buyers.

    3. Feature Requests: Implement a section where users can suggest new features or improvements for Nothing’s products. This can serve as a valuable source of feedback for product development.

    4. Knowledge Base: Build an extensive knowledge base with articles and guides on how to use and optimize Nothing devices, helping users make the most of their products.

    5. Exclusive Content: Provide early access to product announcements, software updates, or exclusive content to community members, fostering a sense of belonging and loyalty.

    6. Community Events: Organize virtual events, webinars, or Q&A sessions with the company’s founders or tech experts to engage with the community and address their questions directly.

    7. Gamification: Implement a points or badge system to reward active community members for their participation and contributions, encouraging engagement.

    8. Beta Testing Programs: Recruit community members for beta testing new products or software updates, allowing them to have a direct impact on product development.

    9. User-Generated Content: Encourage users to share their experiences, tips, and creative content related to Nothing’s products, such as photos, videos, or customization ideas.

    10. Mobile App Integration: Develop a mobile app for the community platform to enhance user accessibility and engagement on smartphones.

These features can help foster a thriving and engaged community around Nothing’s products, providing a platform for customers to connect, share, and receive support while also benefiting the company through valuable user feedback and insights.

    Natalie ✨

I think that there should be a badges ,point system for members who actively participate or contribute valuable content and allow members to create and participate in polls to gather opinions and feedback

    Natalie ✨

thats a great way to start re-building the community.

imo, i hope this doesnt turn out to be a social media website like facebook. except for a chat option with online users alone. ( with permission from the other end).

I like the way how simple the community website is now. A community app exclusive for Nothing phones will be great. with notifications on, we can keep track of things going on in the community.

Maybe introduce a few roles like the old time (investor roles was a thing ), for those who contribute more to the community with their ideas.

thats all i can think of right now. will edit if I come up with something else.
