People who are claiming battery drain must have had their bad cycles during their initial update few months back which destroyed everyone’s cycle. I didn’t update during that time but I was forced to updating later via software from the phone itself. And quickly there was next update so I think I jumped it. This update has no battery drain for me. Only issue is while using gestures , going back to homepage from app drawer is laggy and delayed. So yeah. Replace your battery to a new one.

andrewchris22 No, my battery drain only started after this latest update a few weeks ago, and I downloaded as soon as it was available. So a software issue.

Do something Nothing. Its like if I use it, then I shall get great screen time. But if I don’t use it, then the idle battery drain is worse than that. 😠

This is right now from 93% I always restart my phone after a charge to reset battery stats and also won’t charge more than 95%. So yeah here it is with the latest update. In your case might be a buggy update or over time battery gave up. (Also battery right now is 23%) So ❤️ Happy

I’ve worked many years with software life cycle management that ensure stable releases. I’m surprised to see blatant novice errors in Nothing OS 3 release.

Failing upgrade - Several attempts to upgrade get stuck for hours with no user feedback.
The solution was to reboot and immediately upgrade. Also, the upgrade process switches to Spanish language when the default system language is English.
Flickering screen - When I draw down to see notifications the screen flickers. Also locked screen mode.
Battery drain - Not only during the day, but also at night even when I close all apps, wifi and mobile data. And if I listen to some local podcasts (no wifi, no mobile data) the phone shutdowns at night when battery is out. When I check the phone it is quite hot.
Wild Glyphing - Sometimes when I put my phone face down, the glyph lights start blinking as if there was an incoming call. This may be the reason why battery drains at night and the phone is hot.
Inflexible Smart App Drawer sorting - Some apps are not sorted properly. I haven’t figured out how to change the default sorting so that apps are grouped properly.

Didn’t use much. Started the day with 83% and yes. There’s a Google play services but didn’t drain anything as you can see. Trying switching your location off dude.

After using the phone for quite a while post 3.0 update I see the data connection is getting interrupted while on calls. If I opt for auto switching the network, after ending call I see that the data sim is not switching to the preferred one. This wasn’t the behaviour earlier to update.

Hope this will be addressed sooner

Hey everyone,

Phone 2 (Indian Variant) User here…

I’ve been noticing a significant drop in link speed (not network speed) on both my university’s Wi-Fi 6 network and my home Wi-Fi 5 network.

What’s odd is that this happens when compared to my budget Samsung M35 and my old Samsung S20 FE 5G. Both devices were downloading the same app from the Play Store (Asphalt Unite).

I tested this in two ways:

1. With only one device connected at a time.

2. Downloading simultaneously on all three devices.

Here’s my theory:

In the NOS2.6 update, I noticed through device info apps that 6 GHz support was listed (even though 6 GHz isn’t supported in India). But after the NOS 3.0 update, those same apps now show that the device no longer supports 6 GHz.

Could this be limiting the connection speed? Technically, it shouldn’t… but it’s strange.

Is anyone else facing this issue, or is it just my ISP acting up?

P.S.: Admins, please don’t delete this post! It’s just a discussion, not a complaint about any major problem. 🥲

Same here. Data and wifi has taken a huge toll. I’m thinking of switching devices, it’s the primary phone and it behaving like this is just frustrating.
