I use two (that I know of) apps generally used by people living in Sweden called “Klarna” (finace related) and “1177” (healthcare related).
Both apps have implemeted chats in their apps. And when using these chat my phones starts to lag. The more I use the chat the more the keyboard and animations freeze up and become unuseable. I habe to kill the app and type my message elsewere and paste it it before it starts lagging again.
It is only while using “live chat” inside apps. Never had this problem elsewere in the same apps or other apps related to chatting as primary function.
Example, I can use apps like Messenger and Whats app, Google Chat/Gmail or write loong discussions in chatgpt…never any problems.
I have asked both developers of these apps and they say I should talk to the developers of the OS as it works fine for every other user on Android 12/13.
I confirmed the bug just after updating to Nothing OS 2.0.4
I have some pictures…but it is hard to “show” lag as it is something you feel.
