Disagree. Please don’t ruin Nothing like how OnePlus ruined OxygenOS.
You want all that you ask, pretty much what other manufacturers offers. Xiaomi, Vivo, OnePlus, Samsung, etc.
Nothing stands out in it’s own way and that’s what makes it special, other than Pixel. This is what you are trying to change.
Some of them even of file manager without ads on the play store, go download them if that’s what you want. We want no more bloatware. Just give us Android like how Google intended it. Nothing pretty much already add other features that’s missing.. like clone apps, app locks.
You want Nothing own apps, while Phone 2 still lacking camera optimization. Nothing releases more Nothing apps, and they’ll have to spend less time on OS and camera because they need to fix bugs on the apps you ask for, and also people be asking more features, probably will expect a high end editing features for the gallery app lol. Later don’t come and complain, “My phone is not as smooth as it was before. This is last from Nothing for me.”

See, A UI is popular or 2 types of things one is on bloatware and second is features
UI of Nothing, Moto and Pixel are famous for no bloatware
But, Old OxygenOS, ColorOS are famous for features
And HyperOS is balance in both
And we want nothing to be perfect or close to perfect in both things
And Nothing has that Calibre to do it
And at starting of company (2021) they have promised to do it
With all of us we can achieve it
So, we are suggesting it

In my circle, we are using nothing Phone 1 and phone 2.. im using phone 2 black varient.. But we need a unique nothing file manager, but default it had Google manager. We don’t like it 
.. we are expecting it from nothing team…

We bought nothing knowing they use google suite. We really don’t want their apps. keep focusing on OS optimization.

GreyKJedi Agree to this. Don’t know why people bought Nothing, when it is already revealed it is stock android design, and then go on asking ColorOS lol. I hope Nothing will not go in the direction of OnePlus..
Please stick to stock Android experience, that is what made Nothing a good choice.

In my opinion it is a bit unhandy to be basically forced to rely on Google Services on the Most Things. There arent Event simple Things Like a Gallery or notes and more, which would and should be normal to exist. So If Others people think the Same Here with me, i would concider adding These Basic Apps that are Not Google Apps

Everyone bought or got a Nothing Phone knowing that it uses Google apps. There are plenty of free or paid apps for Android that you can download and install. Most forget it’s a near Virgin Google OS that’s why it has Google apps and services. Those that want Google products removed can always learn about how to Root their devices and proceed in removing Google and installing apps of their choice. Nothing is not a bloated device unlike many brand’s out there (Samsung, Honor, LG) comes to mind.
Still who knows what the future holds for us with Nothing and their OS and apps.

Joe King Yes, what’s next for these people? Nothing pay to replace Google pay.. just because Samsung made Samsung Pay. If they want manufacturer suit of apps, plenty of options out there.. xiaomi (look at how many models per year), samsung, oppo, realme. The beauty of Nothing is the near virgin Google OS, just what made OnePlus stand out during it’s earlier days with Oxygen OS, before shifting to ColorOS. Now people wishing the same for Nothing. Why can’t they just go get OnePlus and leave Nothing as it is right.
Like many we all have a choice knowing what you were getting or getting involved in. Once again an almost pure Android OS by Nothing. Nothing needs to concentrate on the current devices and their updates, fix camera issues, connection issues, audio issues but having said that Nothing are building their own apps. While I and my colleagues like/love the Nothing handsets, OS and dislike certain appsor functions from Google we decide to give Android users a choice.
We currently have a dialing app on the market called N Dial and we are rebuild the current version from the bottom up to make it better than it currently is. In the pipeline so to speak we also have other apps that we’re currently working on as we felt we could give user’s something new and different but still have a choice to use Google app.

I really don’t like google photos or google gallery, a basic gallery app from nothing would be a gift for all users
