📱 CMF Phone 1 - Nothing OS V3.0-250111-2249 Changelog

Just manually updated since I have root and unlock bootloader went through the whole process, just to have my Nova launcher flicker like crazy. Can’t even use nova launcher anymore and I should’ve stayed on Android 14 at this point other than that it’s faster boot up times. SO WHAT cmon this was a mid release. There’s nothing stopping you from adding AOD, battery status icon customization, bluetooth battery status bar mini icon like OnePlus has. Also the other one’s people have mentioned like you already have but seem to excuse from this phone with no good explanation. Like for example the Circle to search or whatever the heck that is. Please at least make the software have the same features in all phones unless it is a hardware limitation.

Why are you excluding us CMF users from simple software features? HUH?

Thanks to everyone, and Nothing Devs, but just please, why excluding simple features??? Should not have any excuses for that, just apologies and DO IT. PLEASE! NOT EVEN FOR ME, FOR THE PEOPLE THAT WANT IT!!

I just want some decent simple custom status bar battery icon sets for example, circle icon WITH the battery percentage inside of it, dotted circle icon with percentage inside of it. There’s so many more I can’t even think of them right now. But I love the circular battery icon. <3 Also DEFINITELY AOD display I mean cmon, it’s there, so why can’t we simply enable it and customize it????????????????

We shouldn’t need to jump through hoops to get the same features as the other phones whenever it’s already basically here, just not actually enabled and no option to enable it. JUST WHY?????????????????????

Also duuuude, I’ve been using android my first one as around a 14 year old was an S3, amazing damned times. Now we’re here though, so I’ll stop where I’m going already but the thing is that this is reminding me of how BMW was trying to charge for their Apple CarPlay and charging for features that’s already in the vehicle, but just needed to be “enabled”. In other words, pay for the more expensive phone if you want to compare a car vs a phone it’s difficult. So in this case, it feels similar for some reason just with Software, not a car. Lmao. It’s just if people really want a specific feature, they DEFINITELY shouldn’t need to buy an entire new flagship or mid-tier ph one just to get it, whenever this phone is PLENTY capable with the SAME display. Wtf cmon guys? It is a bit baffling to me.

Slightly frustrating, I know I did find a thread about using ADB to enable AOD on XDA but I’m uncertain if it will even work now after this update. I may give it a go later here though… Anyways, sorry for the rant, hope someone see this and can take some suggestions and perhaps help me with this weird Nova launcher issue as well.

Edit: Apologies, I did find a thread on reddit about Nova Launcher A15 issues, so that’s my bad… I erased my rant of the Nova Launcher issues. Should’ve checked up on that before updating I guess. Ah well, just hope one day it can be updated, so many people love that app and it has the best widget padding / options in general. CRAPOLA im gonna just pour one out now for Nova I guess. Hopefully it won’t stay dead though. :/

its been two years we are facing one major issue and still no fix or proper response for that.

Issue: call history being deleted automatically ( call log retention period)

Effect: after 3-4 week both known and unknown contact call log data being automatically deleted.

Please give this issue a proper attention as a nothing phone user i was proud but now this ruined my entire nothing phone experience
