RapidZapper By when next update is expected to roll out?
Hello,
After updating my device to OS 3.0, I’ve noticed that the OTG setting is no longer available. This is an essential feature for me, and its absence is causing inconvenience.
Could you please confirm if this is a known issue or if there is any workaround to enable OTG functionality after the update?
N_khilkohli On my Phone 1 with OS 3.0 the OTG function is fully functional
Circle to search
Camera improvement
Weather app needs to be a bit faster while searching for location
Change in charging sound indicator (it’s harsh)
Wolverine only circle to search will come rest all rip they won’t come
Anonymous371 kindly suggest mdme the way where i also use OTG setting smoothly.
N_khilkohli The OTG function is active by default. After you insert a pendrive you can see it in the notification area and in the Files app.
After updating to NOS 3, When I use the flip to glyph to put the smartphone on silent, after a while the ringtone turns on by itself again.
After updating my Nothing Phone 1 to Android 15, I’ve run into a strange issue—Google Calendar task notifications aren’t working at all. I’ve tried disabling the app, toggling notifications on and off multiple times, but nothing helps. Oddly, I still receive event notifications (like birthdays), but not for tasks, which I rely on for daily reminders. This is quite frustrating since Google Calendar has been my go-to app for years. Is anyone else facing this issue, or does anyone know a fix? Any help would be appreciated!
SainathLingam I can only tell you that, on my Phone 1, daily calendar notifications work regularly (Android 15 EEA firmware).
Help please. Recently there have been problems with the connection, sometimes the Internet just disappears for no reason. Does not depend on the SIM card. And also when distributing the Internet all my devices see only the network 2.4 Hz, but they don’t see 5 Hz
Any ideas when next update is coming up to fix issues?
HarshShah_CiDc7Qr2IB same thing with me. No specific solution provided by support team. They said to restart and check. Simply useless guys.
KetanMangala it’s already out
The Power Off option works only when in Locked Screen right? To moderators, I request you to forward my question and query to developers!!
Imagine, “your phone being stolen and the stealer trying to turn off your phone by long pressing power button as long as it’s turned off.”
**I tried this feature after updating the phone and what I found was, the phone can be turned off if I keep pressing the power button until it’s off. So, my question is why giving this *useless feature?? ***
The thief basically do the first thing after stealing a phone “turn off the device by long pressing power button”.
The locked screen password verification device off option is utter bullshit. This feature prevent others from immediately turning off the device by scrolling down to notification and press power but in below right. You think the thief is that much dumb or we consumers??
If I miss something, please moderators educate me. I’m just frustrated how dumb the developers are by giving this dumb type of feature.
My suggestion: Re-write the code and add more features like if a thief steal a phone and tries to turn it off by long pressing the power button and then there shows verification option to power off the phone, it would be smart not this dumb feature!!
It seems you are mistaken. A long press of the power button brings up either Gemini or the power-off menu. Simply holding down the power button will not turn off the smartphone. Additionally, when selecting the “power off” option in the power button menu, a password prompt appears. Therefore, everything works perfectly, and no one can turn off the smartphone without entering the password. Also, on the locked screen, the notification panel cannot be pulled down, and the “power off” button cannot be pressed (this can be configured in the settings).
