Phone(2a)- An Nightmare

Ich benutze 2a seit etwa 4 Monaten und habe viele Probleme mit diesem Gerät festgestellt, aber nach mehreren Beschwerden besteht das Problem immer noch 1 - grüner Farbton im Sperrbildschirm 2 – Schwarze sind in Videos verknallt, weshalb ich Filme oder Videos nicht richtig ansehen kann 😔 3 – Netzwerkinstabilität zeigt 5G an, verbraucht aber 4G-Daten, aber andere 5G-Telefone bei mir zu Hause funktionieren einwandfrei 4 - Jitter im Schnelleinstellungsfeld 5 – mit jedem neuen Update neue Fehler und Inkonsistenzen 6-Farben wirken in Videos langweilig und verwaschen Ich bin im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes unzufrieden und frustriert darüber, obwohl einige YouTuber dieses Gerät immer noch empfehlen. Als ich das Servicecenter besuchte, sagten sie, dass das 2a-Display so eingestellt sei und kein Anzeigeproblem darstelle. Zuvor habe ich Mi-, Samsung-, Vivo- und Realme-Telefone mit Amoled-Display verwendet, hatte aber noch nie ein solches Problem Ich weiß nicht, was ich tun soll

Been using 2a for about 4 months and noticed many issues in this device but after multiple complains problem still remains like

1 -green tint in lock screen

2 -black crush in videos due to which can’t watch movies or videos properly 😔

3 -network instability shows 5g but consums 4g data but other 5g phones at my home working fine

4 -jitter in quick setting panel

5 -with every new updates new bugs and inconsistency

6 -colours seems dull and washed out in videos

Literally dissatisfied and frustrated with this even still some youtubers recommending this device.When I visited service centre they said the 2a display is tuned like this and not a display problem.

Previously I have uses Mi, Samsung,Vivo and realme phones with amoled display but never faced such an issue

DebansuPanigrahi hold on till the next update. Could you test with one thing which would be tedious or even might feel impossible But, if you can take a proper back up if the phone with important documents in place in other device like ur pc or laptop or another phone - which seem tedious. But if you can check with complete reset (Factory reset) leaving other phone settings for nothing 2a which will obviously reset with factory reset.

Note: I was facing the same where you had all the mentioned pointers above which I took a backup and on the same charging I did a factory reset >> waited for 10-15 minutes. Without disturbing the process >> let it set up >> gave a restart and that worked for me at times the videos is the problem which might resolve in next update as it’s the same for my nothing 2. But the green tint and black shadow on videos or streaming got changed for me..

Root cause analyses : There might be various reasons with the improper apps and corrupt downloads with unwanted malware and recently many wrong apps could shoot up the OS I kept downloading helpful apps which later slowed my phone too.

However a DISCLAIMER : the above steps helped for me. However i would recommend to try the same if you are aware about the steps else, I would highly recommend to communicate with the service or support engineer of nothing and check with my above steps.

Daniel what’s the point? They always saying the same thing. He also visited service center. I’m also facing this kind of issues, since launch of 2a Plus.

DebansuPanigrahi I have complaint about network issues for 7 times but always I get the reply to go nearby service centre.

Meh the nearest service centre is almost 150km far.

Krsna yeah same bro 120 km away is my nearest service centre and I am also facing network issue since 3 days like my 4g data gets consumed instead of 5g unlimited

For its the awful bad touch. The touch screen responds so bad it’s very very frustrating. Especially near the edges

My Nothing phone 2 has the same problems , it’s definitely CHEAP hardware that’s the issue..

I didn’t meet any of these bugs on my (2a). But today I migrated from (2a) to Pixel 8 Pro. They didn’t correct the 14W charge problem on 5 revisions of software and I guess they never will. I wish you guys all the best, I was a supporter of Carl Pei, but these never corrected bugs and the modifying of Android OS with all kinds of gimmicks made me choose this path. BTW, the grey tint on all black is present in 8 Pro’s screen too, is a feature that keeps the pixels alive for more time. My (2a) served me good, but it was time for me to go to next level.

Is my biggest mistake this NP2 , brithness drop from 100% to 94% when i watching video for 5 minutes, that’s fucked me with any reason, autobrithness disable, night mode disable, safe batery disable, extra drim disable , i put manualy again to 100% AND the fucked phone droop yo 94% ….400$ with 2 cases AND charching

HassanMajzoubMajzoub it’s also happening my nothing 2a, brightness automatically dimmed after few minutes played video even I set manually (auto option never used), and when I watched video it’s automatically remain full brightness when I exit video player
