I wanted to check if anyone has any updates on the Circle to Search feature for the CMF Phone 1. As of now, it doesnât seem to be available on the device.
Is there any official confirmation from Nothing about when (or if) this feature will be added in a future update? It would be great to have this functionality, especially for quick searches without switching apps.
If anyone has insights, news, or workarounds, please share them below!

Custom ROMs are useful though.

you have to try poweroff after the lockscreen is active. when phone is unlocked it cant work

THE POWER OFF VERIFY ONLY WORKS ON LOCKSCREEN SO PLEASE STOP SAYING IT DOESNâT WORK
After updating new official update I will facing lagging issue . (Feb month update)
I have turned on power off verify after an update on my phone but it doesnât work even after several power off and restarts. Is anyone facing such issue. Because itâs one of the most useful features which is needed mandatorily but itâs not working. Any ideas or solutions?

AjitGaidhani Yes please add feature to double tap the lock screen while screen is on in order to turn screen off. You already have double tap to wake but not double tap to re-lock the screen. So I had to root and I only was able to find a solution of enabling double tap statusbar to lock and that seems to work for now. Also if thereâs an option to enable Notificationâs to popup / screen turns on, only in the AOD display if this makes sense, so that way your screen doesnât turn on every time you get a notification. Perhaps this is already a feature and I just havenât noticed it yet havenât had this phone quite so long yet. Other than this is there a way you guys can also look into / adjust the sensor because say for example whenever I am holding my phone and using it as a flash light in a single hand half the time the screen turns on for no apparent reason is it possible to have the phone detect if the fingerprint part of the screen is being covered while screen is off as well as the already present sensors? I mean something is definitely off, because I donât really have this issue with my old phone and it has this same type of Semi âAODâ like the CMF phone.
Keerthin Also I definitely like the idea of an additional option for this feature, maybe something like âRequire while device has been unlockedâ as well. Sounds like they wouldnât have any reason not to.

I started facing an issue I donât really know is it an CMF phone 1 or software issues here is the step by step guide to try the bug
First go to playstore or any app tap on the search bar tap on the emojis section tap on search emojis there you go type q or any other letters you will be stuck if you close it and reopen or open any other app you wonât be able to use keyboard you can try restarting the phone the issue will be solved if you go again the bug will come back
