Though they have told that this will be fixed in next update. It’s still not fixed in the latest update they released. Bit disappointing.!

I actually thought ‘nothing’ will listen to community lot more than the other big companies.

galaxys3 Yes! Especially at low volume levels on good speakers, it’s either so soft that you can’t hear the music or too loud!

It’s wild that this is an issue, there should be 100 steps of volume by default.

I can also confirm this issue is still present on NP2 running OS3.0.

The most annoying volume step for me is between 3 and 4 on Ear (a). You can hear it jump 2 volume steps for 1 button press.

As this issue has been present for many months now, can nothing please look into this as a matter of urgency.

Kind Regards

Lee

HI Jack, thanks for letting me know the reason.

I hadn’t noticed it until recently when I got my nothing ear (a) earphones as I generally have it full volume when connected to car Bluetooth and home amplifier. I don’t recall having this noticeable volume jump with my previous Samsung phone so am hopeful this can be fixed

    Best Regards, Lee

I tried an app called Precise Volume, it’s a good workaround in the meantime

      Hi Josecorddoba,

Thanks for sharing the name of that app with me and the community, i will check it out.

      Kind Regards, Lee

galaxys3 The fact is that, nothing is still a growing company and they can’t nail everything. We complained about auto brightness toggle and bottom navbar pill and they were fixed. So, give it time. I have a few complains of my own, but they should very darn well fix the volume step issue.

So basically I really hope people do read this

Whenever I watch and my volume is at the lowest possible volume it’s still too loud and I tried using apps to make it quiter but nothing works to please take this into consideration thank you

coolzaid12 I’d recommend providing feedback via the CMF App > Profile > User Feedback.

Merged 2 posts from Volume precision .

galaxys3 same with me when I’m in bed my brother tells me to put the volume lower I have to u like a app but like still it’s too loud on the smallest amount

galaxys3 I need this so much!

I’m listening to audiobooks to fall asleep better every night. My only volume choices are: too loud or too quiet.

        7 days later

need this. volume is not low enough when I watch something at night. minimum volume is still loud

        15 days later

I really do think they should implement this. The jump between volumes is just too big

My Nothing Ear 2024’s volume control is kind of “snapping” to specific levels, preventing finer adjustments. Unfortunately theres no sweet spot between volumes, so its either you are listening to something really loud, or slightly quiet. Is there a way to adjust the volumes more finer? I tried the volume slider, it doesnt change until it goes up to a certain level, almost like mice DPIs that only have 400dpi, 800dpi, 1200dpi, without stuff in between

Merged 1 post from nothing ear 2024 volume snapping.
