Wolverine Iām sorry if you have issue with your camera, Iām not a fanboyā¦ Iām evaluating the real situationā¦ Look at my images and tell me if this is a bad camera.

I am not a fanboy. Just telling the truth. I have my phone (1) for over a year and my camera experience is really great. You who expect camera from S25 ultra on 400ā¬ phone, itās your problem. Camera on Phone (1) is better than any phone in its category, bigger sensor and better optics that othersā¦.
With this latest update I have had several reboots and freezes in the Youtube app.
I think the battery is draining quickly, and it doesnāt go into ābattery usageā to see what it could be.
Not at all happy with this update!
Wolverine same is with me on nos 2.0 it was soo good loved it but after 2.5 itās worse only option is gcam now

Stefan I regret if you feel troubled with my comments, but you need to know that this OS does not behave the same way on all nothing phones. My phone has 3.0 and the images are blurry and it has only got worse with every update since 2.5. many users share this experience and none of them have a s25.
Iām happy that your camera is good.

I have a habit of doing a factory reset when a major upate o.s. comes along so I get rid of all the errors and my phone is clean and fast. I make a backup of my data and reinstall all apps. This is inconvenient and time consuming butā¦ the phone thanks me!

Anonymous371 I do it as well, but there is something in the camera that just wonāt set itself right. Hence a request for camera update thatās perhaps never coming around. 
Wolverine I understand your disappointment, but I donāt understand this difference between your camera and my cameraā¦ And yet we have the same phone!
Maybe itās got something to do with how some users suffer from frequent reboots on their phones after an update while othersā phones do not get such an issues. Even if they both have followed the same steps like formatting etc.
This is why camera issues persists.

Stefan I had OnePlus Nord 2 and Samsung A55 which were stolen and after that I bought Nothing Phone 1 in mid 2023.
I can clearly say Nothing Phone 1 is one of the best budget phone with lots of good and useful features than other phones if you compare but id disagree with you or any other fanboy on the Camera compartment!
Those Nord 2 and A55 were midrange as well but they had better camera than Phone 1.

Wolverine You have a Firmware EEA or Global?ā¦ This could be the cause of the differences between the various phones??? (I have EEA firmware)

OviGarry Dear friend OviGarry, English is not my native language, I use translator and there may be some misunderstandings.
I am not able to know which cameras took your photos, letās get back to the topicā¦ I never said that NP1 is a ācamera Phoneā but when some users said that the camera is horrible I posted some photos (I resized the photos so as not to weigh down the forum server) to say that it is a good camera, not āexcellentāā¦ when some users reported many bugs, battery drain, frequent reboots, no new feature and many others, I simply reported that this did not happen to my phone.
This must be useful to understand and solve problems not to cause conflicts between users of the community, this should be useful to the technicians of āNothingā to understand why some phones work well but other phones have problems (I hope they are here to read this information), I hope I have explained my point of view.

If you want I can post the āoriginalā photos to show you that they were taken with NP1.
(One thing makes me very angry about NP1ā¦ eSim feature missing!!!

Anonymous371 I get your point, and I agree that the Nothing Phone is great well almost great with a good camera. But after the 2.5/2.6 update, the quality did drop, just like many users said. It still takes good photos, but not as good as before. Also, I tried to show some photos to see the difference with other phones! To me A55 and Nord 2 used to take much more better photos than Phone 1 before 2.5/2.6 update now itās usually blehā¦
I also agree that some people post random complaints without even trying to fix things. But I felt like you were defending every issue, even when thereās no real solution. Aside from that, I feel frustrated because the developers are not doing anything to address this (camera) situation and try to fix it with next update!
By the way, my three photos are original. I could not upload a couple other cz of photo mb size I guess!
@NexPG The first is from Nord 2, the second from Phone 1, and the third from A55!

OviGarry Young brand, I think they are too busy promoting new phones and donāt have time to fix the issues of āoldā phones.
Even with new phones (despite repeated requests from this community) they continue to make mistakesā¦ the new Phone 3a doesnāt have eSim supportā¦ only 3a Pro, this is very serious issue for a new project!!!
(I donāt want to appear as a NP1 fanboy, thatās why I change my nick and avatar

Anonymous371 from India, not sure what firmware version it is. But Nothing is really not worried about fixing the camera and the OS is bumpy for different users. Some get reboots, some donāt. Some have better camera ,some donāt. Meanwhile Carl is not bothered.
Sorry to mention the term āfanboyā, I started the nonsense and it has snowballed.
Firmware (bot) After OS 3.0 update VoNR enabling switch is missing in Phone 1. Even in Developer options its not available
