As the new key’s function can be performed by the power key or a combination of volume and power keys. So, are 2a users getting essential space or not?

Essential space for older Nothing Phones?

We don’t know all the details yet but for now it’s only available for Phone (3a) series which make sense because it take advantage of the new key which is only present on these.
Will other phones get Essential key features as an update ? By the way what’s difference between Nothing OS 3.0 and 3.1 ?
Is Essential space is a feature exclusive to nothing 3a series ?
so somwere yeah and somwhere no, because we dont have the button, but whe can download the app and then do it in the app but not with buttons
I hope so, because they don’t seem to be stingy with the software features. The CMF phone has all the features of Nothing OS.

Jack_Chang it’s because they are good in software only so now for few years they will provide every feature to budget phones bhut when they enter main stream they are going to do the same as OnePlus and samsung
romano maybe they add support to power button, double press power button to activate essential space 
RohithTony Nice thought by the way, even if they give just the app, that would do fine. I’m very eager to try that feature .

I’m very sure that Essential Space will be only available for (3a) and (3) phones and newer.
Why should they support the old phones when its a feature that is a chance to sell the new phone? That wouldnt make sense at all.

Nice as that would be (I have the Nothing Phone 1) I think it’s not going to be possible because none of the previous devices have the extra button to use.
MarkG13 we can just use the app alone or we can customize the power button right? Or another combination, like pressing the volume up and volume down together or whatsoever right?
