Looking really kool. Just one suggestion, the designs do not fall in to any concept per say. If i were u, i would create a concept for the flagship, one for A series and one for Plus like how android versions are. For eg, introducing essential space in 3 series would mean infinity amount of possibilities and hence i would associate the flagships to cosmos as a concept and name is it as Phone 3:Infinity and use the Infinity signage on the rear. Future flagships may stick to the concept which when left open for customers to decide, will create an essential hype. Just thoughts . Appreciate the oppurtunity thx.
Nothing Phone (3) Design Concept - Jumping Back into Blender
The back looks like someone sitting on something?? The upper part looks cool, but only 2 Glyph strips left?
- (Edited)
Worst design ever
Great work Bro
Put round edges must be symmetrical, little compactness, more interaction with glyph, one button beside power button for multifunction alongwith essential space, add video recording light, 2 monochrome colours, back tap gestures, little less weight, at last put some easter eggs. Loves detailing.
You worked there hard but the desing remind what we have in phone 3a pro.
As mentioned in the post, my design started well before the unveiling of the 3a series, which does mean that I was on the right track with where the general design was heading, I just didn’t expect to see that sort of change for 3a series. Now that we’ve seen the 3a series designs, I would expect Phone 3 to be more of the same but refined, or quite different.
Derren absolutely incredible work. You have taken my advice and pushed it further than I could imagine. You have become such a talented concept artist in the community and I’m happy that I get to help.
Keep rocking it, you are incredible.
3DPrintedCat And going into my next project with this advice, information and experience is going to help A LOT.
These are some gorgeous renders, Derren!
Your previous concepts and your journeys you’ve shared inspired me to download Blender myself and take on the Community Edition of (2a) when that was announced. Not that I have touched it since…but I once again feel like there is much to learn with that programme should I engage again.
This is a wonderful process to have read, and the final result looks stunning. Whilst I miss the wireless coil element of the (1) and (2), the playful nature of this camera bump is great and I love the inspiration from Analogue Pocket.
Unfortunately, you continue to set the bar higher and higher, so no pressure for your next concept!
Keep up the amazing work and you are a credit to this Community for your constant and continual concept creations!
Exactly what @Ealesy101 said. Amazing work, and you’re truly a credit to the community. I hope @Carl recognises just how damn lucky Nothing is to have fans/customers as talented as you.
I’m beyond happy to not be locked in that damn orchard as I was for so many years - and with a community and fellow fans such as @Dearrawat x Nothing it’s going to be an exciting future.
I would love to see the wireless coil make a return. In this concept i took it out for a couple reasons
- I dont use it, and i think a large portion of people don’t, or at least don’t use it enough
- It takes up a large area, so if we do see it make a return i hope its in a way that still has some nice design elements and doesn’t take too much away. I love the bottom portion of the device having lots of different design elements, including that main ribbon which we’ve seen variations of over the past couple of generations.
Great artwork friend. Liked it but I want to see a flagship kinda thing here.
From my thoughts it would be a wireless charging coil (the default one which is in Phone 1 & 2) and some tweaks in new led’s
Hoping they present something good.
Your Job is Amazing
Reimagining the Nothing Phone (3) from scratch—metal, ribbed, and premium—its good to see the one of a design that is controlled obsession!
