Screen Burn In After 1 week use

Had the nothing phone 2 now for under a week and already have got burn in, I keep my brightness at 50 percent with auto brightness off and have the status bar and the finger print sensor burnt in permanently I have turned device off for a few hours and still show I know about image retention but this is definitely not that just making my experience bad and now I notice it I can’t un see it maybe going return device if it’s still there after tomorrow going turn off till then must be cheap oled panels

Are you able to provide an image so we can see the extent of the burn in? Burn in usually doesnt occur that soon, it may be best to get in touch with support.

That is my only device I can use to take a photo it has the battery percent and the time etc if download dead pixel app can see it easier I will just take to store tomorrow I got it from and if they say it’s not I have 14 days to return it for any reason so just get anew one

I have the same problem with my nothing phone 2a and now that I’m getting into the community I’m realizing that it’s a somewhat common problem… I noticed this problem yesterday and I’ve just had my new phone for a week… I’m seriously thinking about making use of my warranty to get my money back since this problem was the reason I left my old phone (which I used for years so it’s more justifiable) it’s a real shame since I love the design of this phone and its entire ecosystem in general… the brand makes fantastic designs, but this is a problem that unfortunately I can’t let go… besides, once you realize that the stains are there, you can’t stop looking at them.

Rudziav Well, unfortunately I found more details on the screen… first I thought about letting the details I mentioned above go, thinking that it is a good value phone with a fantastic design… however, reading the comments I realize that it is something common and I can’t let this go, I feel bad because I repeat that it was a phone that I had a lot of hype for, and I also bought a $40 case that I can’t return so it’s doubly disappointing… as I mentioned at the beginning, the new details I found are; a discoloration in the upper part of the screen… I tried with dark images and the screen shows them in green tones, on the other hand, the other video shows that when you lock the screen, a flash of light appears in the same place where the image discoloration occurs
