How narcissistic can you be?

I love what Nothing does, the UI, the themes, the ads, they’re so freaking cool but this post defending the UFS 2.2 is such a narcissistic defence on your unnecessary ‘compromise’.

Yes I agree with nothing PV there is not greater d/f ufs 2.2 and 3.1, most important thing for a smartphone is software optimisation and nothing is providing us, many people are inspired from Chinese brand they are giving this giving that, material is not important quality is important and nothing as company doing exactly same thing giving us the quality through its software part, have you seen when u bought a Chinese phone you have to disable the notification off some apps and why we have to do this bcoz of adds they are giving us forcefully, so guys always remember nothing os is great OS, i will rate this OS after pixel OS, not even samsung OS defeat the nothing OS, so appreciate nothing work.

Pls let me if anyone have anyone i will answer on the behalf of nothing ( do not think i m nothing biased guy i am a user who support software not hardware ).

    Oh my god… Are you comparing it to the Realme 11 Pro Plus? Maybe you should compare it to the Nothing Phone (2)? Screw it—let’s compare it to the Nothing Phone (1). How do you like the fact that Nothing Phone (1) has twice the UFS speed of Nothing Phone (3a)? A great progression over three generations—I like it! Keep up the good work.

    I suggest using eMMC memory in the Nothing Phone (3). We’ll save you a ton of money!

    Wait a minute though… Have you heard about the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820? The Snapdragon 820 was released nine years ago, around the same time as UFS 2.1, and it was a flagship. Yo! This is exactly what we need! We’ll tell everyone that our cool software optimization overclocks the Snapdragon 820 to the level of the Snapdragon 8 Elite. And let’s not forget about the incredible balance.

    But seriously, did you know that UFS 2.2 is less reliable than UFS 3.1? And did you know that UFS 2.2 will start losing speed as the drive fills beyond 80%? What about the lower power efficiency of UFS 2.2, its higher I/O latencies? What do you think about delays when shooting photos from the people above?

    Raymond’s post is just a marketing ploy to try to justify the use of UFS 2.2, but believe me, there’s no reason to use UFS 2.2 in a smartphone priced over $250. That’s all.

    mandila1234 yes exactly that’s the point why should i disable the app??? I bought a phone to disable the app… why should we as a customer has to do this. This is Smartphone company responsibility to do from their own end. Even not a single bloatware is on new nothing phone. But in so called chinese phones first remove all the chinese app then disable the hot app hot game and here they don’t they send us unnecessary notification through their app what is this shit….. i pay for a phone so i own it.

        NOVA Yeah, and also ALT mode with USB3.2. Your dreams are your problems, Nothing has other plans.

          with out proper hardwear how much you can optimise a phone ?

          a software that just become slow no matter even if it comes from direct god ! because software is just a thing need to be refreshed every time whenever technology develops… updating some of apps require minimumram speed… so it wont consider yiur software… it will consider phone capacity!

                So its okay, but we are getting camera which is huge plus point and ofcourse nothing os.

                    Good explanation, but we are expecting LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. In this price range, competitors are providing a more advanced tech stack.

                    You should compare UFS 2.2 and UFS 4.1 to understand the difference.

                    Focus on image processing speed after capturing a picture with the camera—this is a common issue in every Nothing Phone.
