I haven’t updated this so do you think that I should wait??

Is it that bad??

    andrewchris22 dunno, i have the google app disabled. devoloper menu has a toggle, not sure.

    I use futo keyboard, not spyware gboard. hard to configure the way you like, but it works pretty much good.

    No issues with the already poor haptic engine. Auto-brightness seems to be working as it should prior to os 3.0 .

      Power off verify is such a non-feature. Anyone can still long-press the power button for 10 seconds to force reboot & power off from the bootloader menu.

      Unlock for all features and data showing even after unlocking the device

      Restart sometimes fix it…

      Definitely a Bug, Fix it Nothing Team…

      Also reported to official feedback

      But the experience was bad and they close request after 48 hours even after replying…

      Just an automated bot response 😕

      mine is when charging was not working within seconds but it working again the original cable is fine.. so maybe it is bug

      Disappointment .

      1. Camera Improvements which has become the major expectations for its users is a total blunder.

        Over exposed pictures even if the exposure is balanced & controlled before clicking.

      2. Battery optimisation has deteriorated since the last update & yet again this latest update doesn’t resolve.

      3. After the latest update , it feels a little laggy.

      4. Only the beneficial point in this latest update , the Power off verification , which was really imp from security point of view.




        Can Nothing not solve this issues a little earlier , so that the Nothing users doesn’t lose interest in using the handset & doubt to rely on Nothing , users like us who have chosen Nothing over other established brands in the market. That does require huge trust over a new brand in the cell phone industry.

        Nothing Phone 2 having 8 gen 1 processor doesn’t feel like going through such an updated chip set anymore , after these updates which is ruining the overall user experience.

        shayansom007 Power off feature is good ? Try holding the power button for ten seconds or more 😂 Any thief will easily do it to switch off the mobile or reboot it. Holding power and Volume down will also easily take you to boot loader 😂

            andrewchris22 looool. are tenage thiefs that smart enough?

            i spend most of the time at home atm and i have find my phone disabled. on a big concert or something i doubt there is enough reception to track the phone before the thief can turn it off.

            I have smart unlock enabled with my earphones and smart watch, so i did not care to test.

            Anyhow, seems more like a boomer for whoever get the hands on the phone 😅 if you worry about theft buy an huawei, they’ll put it right back into your pocket with a 10 bucks tip.

            iphones on the other hand are an easy target, that is why my nothing 2 is grey 😂

            Be like: the heck that thing with loads of lights on the back? Nothing babyyye 😂

              I was very reluctant to upgrade to this new version after reading comments about bad battery and heating up issues but in my experience the battery seems improved. But yes the camera has gotten worse, in new pictures even my 3 year-old toddler has defects in skin which actually aren’t there and tbh the portraits look like Ai oil paintings more than pictures taken with phone.

              Bluetooth audio volume is too low after the update.. Is anyone facing this issue?
